I first came across Baby Space 2018 while searching online for baby-friendly programmes that I could bring Baby L to. I knew I just couldn’t miss it. So, I excitedly signed up for a session on a Friday afternoon, and asked the hubby if he wanted to tag along (since it was his day off) – to which he happily and readily agreed.
Baby Space is a multi-sensory installation designed for babies 12 months and under. It features a performance, which involves the fusion of contemporary dance, music and visual arts. The babies are encouraged to interact with the dancers, as well as to freely wander and explore the space.
It was a proud parenting moment for us as we watched our son roaming and mingling around freely on his own, crawling in and out of every possible space and “hole” that he could find.
Baby L clearly had all the fun in the world, even the hubby told me he had enjoyed himself too.
