1. Cheeky Bee Hoon - Tasty Soup and Dry Bee Hoon at Katong

Cheeky Bee Hoon is a new restaurant at Katong that currently offers 3 main bee hoon dishes. This includes the Soup Bee Hoon, Dry Bee Hoon and Dry Bee Hoon with Pork Belly. The restaurant follows a vintage-theme and the bee hoon is definitely worth trying!

In celebration of International Fried Chicken Day that falls on 6 July, KFC, the world-famous fast-food chain renowned for its finger-lickin' good chicken, is thrilled to announce its first-ever Unlimited Chicken Feast in Singapore, that will take place from 5 - 7 July 2023 across three KFC outlets. Fans of KFC can purchase their tickets to enjoy90-minutes of unlimited servings of over 10 different fried chicken items, sides, desserts, and soft drinks via Chope!

Enjoy an array of mouth-watering choices from the Unlimited Chicken Feast food menu, including the signature Original Recipe Chicken and Hot & Crispy Chicken; the irresistible sides, such as the delectable Popcorn Chicken,  Tenders, new KFC Spicy Dippers with Sriracha-Styled Sauce, Nuggets, Coleslaw, Whipped Potato, French Fries; and must-have desserts, namely Egg Tart and Golden Mochi Balls! 8. PS.Cafe Opens Its Doors to a Parisian-Inspired Escape at Marina Bay Sands

The latest PS.Cafe opens at Marina Bay Sands and is inspired by the Parisian cafe culture. The brand-new 86-seater space spotlights a new floating island within the Canal At The Shoppes. Sheltered by parasols, guests visiting the island platform will find a private space that is flooded with light, reminiscent of a romantic dining experience along the Seine River in Paris, where guests can while their afternoon away whilst enjoying refreshments. 

 Tuck into classics such as the popular PS. Big Breakfast ($29++) for a breakfast fit for a king or enjoy PS.Cafe’s iconic Truffle Shoestring Fries ($18++) that remain ever-present as a classic staple. Adding a little spice to the menu, those who enjoy southeast Asian flavours will rejoice with the new additions such as the Buttermilk Chicken Nasi Lemak (26++), which features tender chicken pieces clad in a deliciously crispy coating, accompanied by fragrant coconut rice, pickled vegetables and a fried sunny side up egg, or the gloriously comforting Duck Confit Curry with Crispy Roti (29++), featuring a succulent crispy duck leg with potato cutlets, which have been drenched in a fragrant curry sauce and accompanied by a freshly made crispy roti for the ultimate burst of delicious flavours that will top any meal.

Dessert lovers will not be disappointed, with the famous and extremely generously portioned Double Chocolate Blackout Cake ($18++) and the iconic Sticky Date Pudding ($15++) as well as other delicious confections remaining staples of the dessert menu. 

9. Delight in The Marmalade Pantry’s Refreshed Executive Set Lunch Menus

 

The Marmalade Pantry unveils new, mouth-watering offerings in the Executive Set Lunch menus, highlighting modern bistro fare in easy, delectable options. The set lunch menus will be available daily from 16 July to 31 October 2023, 11.30am to 3pm at The Marmalade Pantry Downtown for dine-in and online for takeaway (self-collection) or delivery.

The 2-Course Executive Set Lunch ($28++) comprises a choice of main, dessert, and beverage, while the 3-course Executive Set Lunch ($33++) includes the additional choice of a starter - soup or salad of the day, or the newly introduced Quinoa Patty (+$3) special. Add $6++ for a petite portion of Truffle Fries or Sweet Potato Fries, perfect for sharing. The quarterly menu change brings to diners a new selection of tantalising lunch offerings each time, ideal for business lunch meetings, refuelling amidst a busy day with colleagues, or a casual lunch date in a chic and relaxing setting.

Choose from a variety of hearty mains such as the Haloumi Burger, Potato Gnocchi, and Pan-Seared Barramundi; or alternatively, for an additional $3++, the signature Spicy Crabmeat. Complete the meal with a choice of a decadent dessert - a luscious Raspberry Crepe, or the Cupcake of the Day. Each set lunch is served with a beverage from a selection of coffee, tea, apple, or orange juice.

The signature dish presents succulent duck meat with crispy and paper-thin duck skin, complemented with Yàn’s house-made crepes and traditional garnishes.

12. Exclusive limited-time Wagyu Matsuri menu at Genki Sushi

14. 10 Hands Culinary Showcase - A Rediscovery of Cantonese Classics at Min Jiang, Goodwood Park Hotel

Following the success of last year’s ‘8 Hands Culinary Showcase’, Min Jiang at Goodwood Park Hotel is raising the bar for this year’s collaborative cookout ‘10 Hands Culinary Showcase: A Rediscovery of Cantonese Classics’ 十手连环,美味无限. The impressive line-up of chefs this year features five veteran culinary maestros specialising in Chinese cuisine – Chan Kwok, Yim Yiu Wing, Cheng Hon Chau and Min Jiang’s very own Chan Hwan Kee and Ho Chee Hee and, all of whom have garnered decades of experience respectively.

To be held from 13 to 20 July 2023, '10 Hands Culinary Showcase: A Rediscovery of Cantonese Classics' will be sure to delight the tastebuds and transport diners down memory lane with its repertoire of rarely seen traditional Hong Kong-style Cantonese dishes that date back at least three decades. Elevated with modern finesse and assembled into two decadent set menus, these meticulously-curated dishes promise a refined gastronomical experience for its diners and is a true testament to the chefs’ culinary prowess. 

15. Gordon Grill Celebrates Its 60th Anniversary

As Singapore’s inaugural grill room in the 1960s, Gordon Grill, originally known as the Gordon Room when it opened on 30 July 1963 – proudly assumes the title of the oldest dining establishment within Goodwood Park Hotel, a cherished heritage icon since 1900.

Unique tableside dining experiences continue to captivate guests at Gordon Grill; its ubiquitous beef trolley is a familiar sight among regulars, its signature Crêpe Suzette dessert is flambéed with flair in the presence of diners and a popular roast wagon menu is offered for leisurely weekend lunches. Celebrating this milestone with aplomb, this inimitable restaurant will present an exquisite line-up of updated nostalgic creations the likes of Flambé Steak Diane Tenderloin, Seafood Bouillabaisse, Lobster Thermidor and Cherry Jubilee that had previously graced its menus through the years.

These refined classics will take centre-stage on the a la carte menu from 1 to 30 July 2023.

16. Toastbox New Outlet and Latest Additions

Toast Box is pleased to unveil its latest outlet at Bras Basah Complex, on the former premises of the charming and beloved Music Book Room – an iconic store that was a familiar sight and sound for many Singaporeans over 43 years that just opened today, 15 June. Customers can enjoy their ‘la kopi' experience amid a nostalgic setting with music-inspired décor elements such as vinyls and even an antique gramophone – even the original façade of the store has been preserved.

At the same time, the brand is also collaborating with Oatside – Singapore’s first homegrown oat milk, to present two exclusive reinvented Nanyang kopi beverages. Specially concocted to complement the robust flavour of traditional Nanyang Coffee, the limited-edition Oat Milk Kopi and Oat Milk Kopi Melaka caters to an increasing number of customers requesting for non-dairy and plant-based alternatives. These Toast Box X Oatside beverages will be available from 19 June to 16 July, at all outlets island-wide for dine-in, takeaway and delivery.

Families can also take this opportunity to try two new Boluo sandwiches, the Boluo Ham & Cheese $3.80, and Boluo Luncheon Meat & Cheese $4.20 are well-loved and familiar combinations prepared with succulent chicken ham and luncheon meat respectively; both are layered with sliced cheese, picked cucumber slices and slathered with a special ‘breakfast sauce’. The sandwiches are available daily till 11 am.
