Toast Box is proud to unveil a unique new outlet on the former premises of the iconic and beloved Music Book Room at Bras Basah Complex.

A haven for music lovers and many generations of Singaporeans for 43 years, Music Book Room closed in March 2023 after the owner decided to retire and it is now reopened as a Toast Box outlet.
At this Toast Box store, certain key elements have been purposefully retained – such as the original façade and signage of the shop, while new and complementary touches have been added.
Old School Charm
Evoking an old school charm and vibe, the store is decked out in rustic wooden interiors and matching furniture, and also artfully decorated with curated displays showcasing the brand’s Nanyang coffee story, vinyl records, an antique gramophone, and even a piano. Customers can connect and partake in a good time over Toast Box’s comforting menu of coffee, toast and other local delights amid this nostalgic setting.
