★ KIDS - Japanese Mixed Rice with Miso Barramundi (Rice Cooker) ★⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ > Swipe for video ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I think this has got to be my favourite rice cooker rice dish so far! This was so simple but so good! I prepped the ingredients the night before. So it took me less than 10 mins to put everything together. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ✨ Ingredients ✨ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ • @kinmemairice Japanese Rice (soaked for 30 mins)⁣⁣ • Dashi Stock ⁣⁣⁣ • Soaked Shiitake Mushrooms⁣⁣⁣ • Carrot ⁣⁣⁣ • Shimeji Mushrooms ⁣⁣⁣ • Spring Onion (white part) ⁣⁣⁣ • Goji Berries⁣ • @kuhlbarra Barramundi (marinated in mirin and miso) ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Note : Water : Japanese Rice ratio is 1 : 1. I usually add more water for Japanese rice but there’s a lot of mushrooms and they release liquid, making the ratio just nice for me (I’m really no expert in cooking, especially rice! This is what I think is the best but please use your usual rice method) ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I also added the reserved water from the shiitake mushrooms into the dashi stock as well. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Enjoy 😉⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ #anythingjamiekids #food #foodphotography #homemadefood #toddlerfoodidea #toddlerfood #toddlerfoodie #homecooked #homecookedmeal #kidsfood #kidsfoodidea #sghomecook #sgmummy #sgfoodie ⁣⁣⁣⁣

★ KIDS - Rice Cooker Meal ★⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ > Swipe for video ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Another simple rice cooker meal that is fuss-free and easy! You don’t have to clean the stove and there’s lesser things to wash. The best part is, I can add mushrooms and broccoli and J will still eat it! ⁣ ⁣⁣ I don’t know what to name this dish. It’s like fried rice but cooked in a rice cooker. Fried rice uses cold and dry rice so it turns out perfect. But because I’m using hot rice directly from the rice cooker, my rice gets a little soft and soggy. You can trial and error and see whether adding lesser water helps. ⁣ ⁣ Enjoy ✨⁣ ⁣ #anythingjamiekids #food #foodphotography #homemadefood #toddlerfoodidea #toddlerfood #toddlerfoodie #homecooked #homecookedmeal #kidsfood #kidsfoodidea #sghomecook #sgmummy #sgfoodie ⁣

[Recipe🍗✨] #CircuitBreakerDay1 : Hope everyone is doing well! 💯❤️ The kids are in school for the last time before all schools close tomorrow, #familybondingtime I guess 😜 #wheretobuycane 👻 . Honey Soy Chicken : This is one my absolute favorite recipes which is soooo easy to whip up for the family and the kids LOVE it sooo much, coz #honey! 🍯✨ . Recipe : Marinate chicken (I used boneless chicken thigh) with honey and light soya sauce. I sprinkle @liloikanbilis mushroom powder over meat, then mix wet marinate and leave in fridge for 30 mins. Heat oven 200 degrees and I place chicken wrapped in baking paper with marinate. Bake/airfry for 20 mins at 160 degrees. I like to keep the marinate in the baking paper coz the chicken is always extra juicy that way! After 20 mins, remove baking paper and bake for another 5-7 mins so skin is suitably crispy and brown. Pour marinate over, sprinkle sesame seeds before serving. 😋 . You can use chicken wings/drumlettes or chicken breast and it’s always a hit with the little ones 😊 Enjoy! . What’s your favorite easy recipe? 😍 . Use my LILO Referral Link : http://rwrd.io/8gl3i8g for 5% off your first order. Or use SUGAR73 for 5% off any second Ikan Bilis refill. (Discount code only available online, not applicable at retail) 💕 . I use #HuijiHoney Pure Honey for my recipes. Available at @fairpricesg from $5.95-$9.95. 🍯 . #honeysoychicken #honeysoychicken #sghomecooks #sgmummycooks #homecook #mummycooking #sgmotherhood #liloikanbilispowder #lilorecipes #homecooked #familymeal #familyeating #sgmummy #homecookedmeal #simplefood #discountcode

What’s for lunch today? 🤩 Elroy requested for one of his favorite food - Japanese Curry! Recipe below ✨💝 . I did a quick Beef Curry version with Blue Pea Rice (just for color) and it was super flavorful and easy to make 😋 . I got DMs asking about the #japanesecurry we use and this is the #Anpanman pack (as seen) that we bought from the Japanese section of @ntucsingapore! Super yummy and convenient, non-spicy so it’s very suitable for kids! 😻 . RECIPE ✨ Heat olive oil in pot and sauté sliced onions. Cook til fragrant and add vegetables in. I added chopped broccoli, carrots and fresh corn. (Potato is another option) Add water and #anpanman curry pack. Let simmer. Taste if you prefer a thicker or more diluted curry. If you are using chicken, add chicken in. For beef cubes, u can choose to sauté in separate pan then add in curry and cook til soft. I used Wagyu Beef slices so it cooks rather quickly, hence I add it in once my vegetables are almost soft. Add beef and sliced mushrooms, stirring curry. I like to add @liloikanbilis mushroom powder for more #umami because I dun add any other seasoning like salt or pepper in my kids food. ☺️ Serve with hot piping rice, enjoy! I made the rice in an #Aeroplane shape, and cut cheese in cloud shapes. The kids lapped it up! 🙌🏻 . Use my LILO Referral Link for 5% off your first order. Or use SUGAR73 for 5% off second Ikan Bilis refill. (Discount code only available online, not applicable at retail) 💕 Link in bio 🔝(I have several DMs asking for discount code, and I know maybe you guys like to purchase online now, so here’s just some info) 😊 #liloikanbilis 🐟 . Hope you are having a fantastic week! My helper is leaving soon, so we’re trying to tie up loose ends here, sorry if my replies are slow! Hope you understand 🙌🏻 . Stay tuned for #giveaways lined up this week though! Something to cheer all of us up, including myself! ✨ Happy Monday! . Bon appétit! 😋 I’ll put these in my #IGHighlights for easy reference. ❤️ . #sgmotherhood #sgmummy #mumlife #sghomecooks #bentoboxlunch #cutelunch #bluepearice #japanesecurry #beefcurry #japanesebeef #japanesebeefcurry #kidsmealssg #sgkidsmeals #mummycooking #homecooksg #homecookedmeal

3/4 lockdown means no traveling to see the beautiful 🌸🌸🌸 and travel plans all strike off my diary for 2020 😭😭😭 #savemoney ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Suppose to make soufflé pancakes but I failed. Instead of the bouncy pancakes, I make do with normal pancake thickness. Recipe is easy but controlling the fire after pouring the mixture onto the heated pan is the most important factor. 🔥🔥🔥 ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Popped by @brunohotplatesg pop up at Takashimaya to check out their collections. ⁣ Tongs and ladles going at $15.90-$18.90 and limited stocks for shaped bowls and plates. You can get my all time fav Bruno compact hotplate there too! I bought purple with rose gold tongs and flower shaped bowls (4 for $36.90) ✨💕✨💕✨⁣ ⁣ ⁣ My 🌸🌸🌸 pancakes mould and table cloth from @daiso_singapore Not forgetting to have some sugar treats on the side (berries, honey stars and chocolate rice) for a happier day ahead!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Look forward to more food posts coming up #fjcooking because it’s really STAY HOME from now on. 🤣✨🤣✨🤣✨ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Stay safe everyone 😷🦠❌⁣ ⁣#sakura #foodstagram #mummycooks #sgmotherhood #sgmums #pancakes #foodie #brunohotplatesg #sgig #morningbreakfast ⁣ ⁣ ⁣

🌸 carrot and kale pasta . . This was a big hit with Kiki. After a night of broken sleep we both wanted to have a good nap in the afternoon. I normally close the blinds when I go for a nap in the afternoon when I woke up the blinds were open lol. That means my hubby came home, even came to our room to check up on us. But I was in deep sleep I didn’t even hear him coming 😂 anyways, we had a full three hour nap today. I really needed that. When we woke up she was obviously hungry. So I quickly made this pasta . 1 cup of pasta - cooked Then on a frying pan first cook some fresh salmon. Without any spices. Then on another pan add some unsalted butter. Let it melt. Add full fat milk and then cheese. Let it all melt. Add some mild curry powder, black pepper and some powdered garlic to the mix. Then stir well. Then add grated carrot, finely chopped kale and salmon and stir again. Lastly add the cooked pasta and stir well. Let it cool before serving. . . By the way she absolutely loves her new @doddl cutlery. #blwpasta #blw #blwideas #blwrecipes #babyfood #toddler #toddlerfoodideas #toddlerlife #toddlermeals #weaningbaby #weaningjourney #kikiskitchen #kikisplate #whatmummymakes #whatbabyeats #pasta #instagood #instadaily #instagram

𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐛 & 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐩𝐞𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐰⁣ ⁣ I set out to make a curry with our leftover Easter roast lamb, but 'The DF Dad' (as he is now known) informed me that it was more like a stew. So here you go - a really tasty, mildly spiced, one pot, cook on the hob stew! ⁣ This is such a great way to use leftover meat after a Sunday dinner. Aubergine, chickpeas & peppers work amazingly with lamb, but you could also use chicken / beef / pork if that's what you have, or lentils to make it vegan.⁣ ⁣ If cooking the meat from fresh add it after step 2 & ensure it's sealed all over before adding the sauce, or cook it in a slow cooker for 8 hours on low.⁣ ⁣ 🆒 keep in fridge for up to 3 days ⁣ ✳️ for up to 3 months & defrost overnight before heating⁣ ⁣ 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐞⁣ 𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝟺 𝘢𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘵 & 𝟺 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴⁣ ⁣ 🌟 INGREDIENTS 🌟⁣ - Approx 500g leftover cooked lamb, diced or shredded⁣ - 2 onions, diced⁣ - 2 cloves garlic, diced finely⁣ - 1 aubergine, diced⁣ - 1 red pepper, diced⁣ - 1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed⁣ - 2 cans chopped tomatoes⁣ - 1 tbsp tomato purée⁣ - 1 tsp ginger paste⁣ - 2 tbsp Indian curry paste (I used Pataks Rogan Josh)⁣ - 200ml low salt chicken stock⁣ - 1 tsp cumin⁣ - 1 tsp turmeric⁣ - 1 tsp coconut / veg oil for frying⁣ ⁣ METHOD⁣ ⁣ 1. Heat up a large pan (no oil) add the aubergine & cook stirring for 3 mins, then remove from the pan & set aside.⁣ ⁣ 2. Add the oil, then onions & cook for 4 mins. Add garlic for another 2 mins then add the curry paste, tomato purée, ginger paste, cumin & turmeric - stir well & cook for 1 min.⁣ ⁣ 3. Add the pepper, cooked lamb, aubergine, chickpeas, chopped tomatoes & stock. Bring to the boil, then simmer for around 30 mins until the sauce has thickened.⁣ ⁣ ·⁣ · #blwdairyfreerecipe #dairyfree #dairyfreerecipes #dairyfreefood #cmpa #dairyfreelife #healthykids #healthykidsfood #healthyrecipes #eeeeats #kidsfood #kidsfoodideas #kidsmeals #toddlerfood #toddlerfoodideas #toddlermeals #blw #blwmeals #blwrecipes #blwideas #blwinspiration #blwdinner #blwmenu #toddlerdinner #babyledweaning #Kidfriendly #familyfood #whatifeedmykid #easyrecipes

Is anyone else baking more now that we're on lockdown?⁣ ⁣ As well as keeping V entertained (for all of 5 minutes...) I'm loving that we always have homemade snacks to take on our daily walk! ⁣ V adores these muffins. The naturally sweet bananas mean you don't need any sugar or syrup, & the raspberry & coconut flavours are a match made in heaven 💖⁣ ⁣ Remember to save & let me know if you give these a try!⁣ ⁣ 🆒 Keep covered in fridge for 3 days⁣ ✳️ Freeze in an airtight container with baking paper between layers for 3 months⁣. Pre-heat your oven to 180·c fan / 375f & line a 12 hole muffin tray with cases (or grease)⁣ ⁣ 2. Add the mashed bananas, melted coconut oil & egg in a bowl, mix well⁣ ⁣ 3. Sieve the flour into a separate large bowl & add the bicarb. Add the wet mixture and fold together softly until all combined⁣ ⁣ 4. I have added two new recipes to the BLW App this week. First up are yummy Blender Burgers and Chips. A great recipe if you’re missing your favourite takeaway, with the added benefit of knowing exactly what has gone into it! I have also added a super simple Dhal recipe. This is great served with rice or added with some eggs for breakfast, and also freezes really well. The Simple Dhal recipe is a premium recipe, but by signing up, you get access to a new extra recipe every single week! And it only costs £1.49 every three months, which will really help to support the app and keep it alive for years to come! Thank you for your continued support, and I hope you like this week's recipes. Xx App links in my bio and featured stories.

Whisk eggs and set aside. 2. Place all ingredients in a bowl except egg and milk. 3. Add milk and gently mix, then add whisked eggs and stir mixture well. 4. Heat a medium pan with a little oil and scoop mixture into pan. You need about 3 tbsp of mixture to make one pancake. 5. Cook 2-3 mins on both sides. 6.
