The Animal Resort is one of the last few farmways and it's possible to get lost making your way there! So, take out your GPS / Google Maps before you get lost in the tiny winding roads leading to The Animal Resort.
It truly feels like you are not in Singapore the moment you turn into the offbeat path!
The Animal Resort is free for walk-ins (but they charge for groups) and is open from 10am to 6pm. If you Bring Your Kid Out to The Animal Resort, you will probably spend about half a day.
Spend the day feeding the horse, fishes, ducks, rabbits, etc. While entry is free, food packets are available at $1 a packet. Personally, I thought it's not so interesting for the adults (maybe the horse feeding was more interesting) but the kids were fascinated!
We probably bought like $5 worth of food, at least half of it was "dumped" into the pond...
A word of warning though, bring along lots of insect repellent if you do not wish to end up being food to the mozzies!
