Resorts World Cruise celebrates its maiden voyage as a new cruise line on 15 June 2022 with the its flagship Genting Dream. This marks the start of Resorts World Cruises’ global premiere as a new Asian luxury and dynamic lifestyle cruise brand, introducing its flagship - the first ship of a planned fleet that are ‘Resorts Cruising At Sea’.
Genting Dream is a former Dream Cruise Ship, this 18-deck, 150,695 gross ton ship has a capacity for 3,352 passengers and 1,700 crew. Seventy percent of staterooms feature balconies. The ship features 35 restaurants and bars, a top-deck pool, and a waterslide park with six different rides.
Families can enjoy a wide spread of authentic Asian and international offerings across the 35 food and beverage facilities, comprising inclusive and specialty restaurants, a Bar City and more. Also, elevated and unique experiences featuring a fusion of amazing dining menus with new Korean, Japanese and Spanish cuisines and spectacular entertainment await guests at different venues on the ship.
Some of its specialty restaurants include Silk Road Chinese Restaurant, Bistro, Umi Uma and more. It is also the world’s first OIC/SMIIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation/ Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries) standard Halal-friendly cruise ship, which offers Halal and authentic Jain Vegetarian certified cuisines in dedicated venues.
Tip: If you intend to dine at any of the specialty restaurants, remember to make a booking earlier to avoid disappointment.

For those who have been on previous cruises, you will know that there used to be tours to the bridge. While this is no longer available, families can head to deck 15, to the Bridge Viewing Room to have a glimpse into the bridge!
Kids between 2 to 12 yrs old may also be dropped off at the Kids Club.so that parents can enjoy a little me-time too! The kids will be taken care of and supervised at the club by trained crew members too.
More Cruises To Be Added
As early as 1 July 2022, Resorts World Cruises will be the first cruise line to sail from Singapore to Indonesia, offering the 2-Night Bintan and Batam Islands Weekend Getaway Cruise. Subsequently, the Genting Dream will also sail from Singapore to Malaysia with the 2-Night and 3-Night cruises to Kuala Lumpur and Malacca (via Port Dickson), as well as Penang. Beginning October 2022, Resorts World Cruises will add a series of new itineraries with more destinations to Malaysia (Langkawi), Indonesia (North Bali, Surabaya) and Thailand (Phuket, Krabi).
