Pools for Everyone
Club Med Phuket boast 4 different pools for everyone! We mentioned the Kids' Club pool earlier which is for the Kids' Club use. Another is the Splash Park at the Family Oasis, which we will mention below. There's also the main pool and Zen pool for adults.
The main pool consist of 2 areas. The kids one is shallower and a deeper one where activities are held. The pool is surrounded by deck chairs and can be watched from the Sanook Cafe-bar too.
The Zen Pool is an adult only area to allow parents and adults to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. There are deck chairs around and it is surrounded by the lush greenery of the resort.
Sports & Leisure
Get ready for an impressive array of complimentary land and water sports. There are supervised activities like the Flying Trapeze School, Archery Academy, Thai Boxing lessons and more.
In particular, we want to highlight the Thai Boxing lessons for adults that was hosted by a very humourous coach. While his English was limited, it was not difficult to understand his instructions. He was able to make the session really enjoyable while providing quite a work-out too!
These lessons have timings that you have to follow. So do check out the daily schedule to not miss them!
Also available is a wide variety of facilities and activities that you can use and take part in. From golf, tennis, paddle ball, pickleball, wall climbing, yoga, aquafitness, and more! There are also snorkeling (complimentary) and scuba diving (chargeable) outside of the resort but participants must pass a swim test conducted the day before to take part.
New Family Oasis with Splash Park
Launched in April 2025, this 1,117-square-metre haven features a 600-square-metre splash park with slides and water sprays – perfect for keeping little ones entertained for hours, with shaded seating for parents to relax nearby. A dedicated snack bar here keeps everyone refuelled.

Amazing Family! Programme
This special programme encourages parents and children to bond through playful, screen-free activities, creating truly unforgettable memories together. Happening near the Sanook bar with different activities happen daily, so do check the schedule!
Evening Shows and Entertainment
Evenings come alive with dazzling shows, performances (often featuring the kids from the Mini Club!), live music, and themed parties. It is a different show every evening with a after-party after that. It is amazing how the G.Os have all that energy every day and every night!
We also highly recommend catching the mesmerising fire shows happening on the Kata Beach but watched from the main pool. It happens once a week, so do find out when!

Some Tips from our Visit
Getting to Club Med Phuket: Club Med Phuket is located at Kata Beach, approximately 90 minutes from Phuket International Airport. So for families traveling with young children, you should take note and prepare the necessary snacks and entertainment for them.
For those who choose the fly and stay package, transfer to and from the resort is available, else you can book transfers at an extra fee. You should check the pricing and compare to see if the package is more worthwhile.
Moving within Club Med Phuket: Our room was at the new Family Oasis, a distance away from the main restaurant and pool. There is a buggy service that takes you around the resort, and loops in a 15 mins intervals.
If you choose to walk, you can also follow the above pictures as a short-cut instead of following the buggy route. This will get you from the main pool to the Family Oasis, and vice versa. Look for the stairs beside Sanook bar that leads to the trapeze and follow the path down. It take about 5 to 8 mins walk and you will see the Family Oasis.
Beach Access: While the resort is near the beach, it's important to note that all beaches in Thailand are public. Club Med Phuket does not have a private beach area but you can easy access the beach. Simply look for the exit pictured above, you will need to sign in and out when using the exit.
For those that want to register for the swim test to go snorkeling or scuba diving, the registration point is also just next to this exit within the resort.
Connectivity: Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort and that is generally sufficient and connects up to 2 devices per room. Otherwise, a premium Wi-Fi is also available at an additional fee for those who require faster / more connectivity.
What to Pack: Don't forget your swimwear for the fantastic pools and splash park! Check the Club Med app for daily dress codes for themed nights, which can make packing easier.
