Exciting news awaits residents and visitors near Changi Airport, as a new venue is set to open its doors in the third quarter of 2023. Cosford Container Park, located at 30 Cosford Road, promises to be a dynamic space where food, lifestyle, arts, and entertainment converge. Spanning an impressive 38,000 square feet, this container park is poised to become one of Singapore's largest food and beverage hubs.
13 Container Units of F&B
Cosford Container Park will house 13 container units specially designed for F&B vendors. This concept offers a refreshing twist to traditional dining experiences, creating an atmosphere that invites the nearby residential community to come together. The park's design encompasses both indoor and outdoor seating areas, accommodating over 340 people. Visitors can relish in all-day gourmet dining, surrounded by a picturesque view of Changi Airport's landing strip.
An Entertainment Hub
Beyond its culinary delights, Cosford Container Park aims to captivate guests with a diverse range of activities and entertainment. An outdoor performance stage featuring a large digital screen will host live music, day parties, and sports broadcasts. Additionally, an adult fun slide adds an element of playful excitement to the park, making it an enjoyable destination for individuals of all ages.
The venue is being developed by Tee Tree Investments, known for a similar container F&B space @ Punggol located at 10 Tebing Lane. The company envisions the park as an off-the-beaten-track destination that appeals to both locals and tourists. Its proximity to Changi Airport makes it an ideal stop for plane spotting enthusiasts and those seeking an exciting experience near their arrival and departure point.
Before It Is Cosford Container Park
The venue used to be the popular 555 Villa Thai that moved out at the end of Aug 2022. Fans of the venue will remember how it was not accessible but holds a certain charm.Â
Looking further, the location has a historical significance. It is situated adjacent to the Johore Battery and marked as a historic site by the National Heritage Board, Cosford Road holds remnants of its past as an area that once housed heavy artillery equipment during World War II. This juxtaposition of history and modernity enhances the park's unique charm.
Opening Hours
Operating daily, Cosford Container Park will welcome visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. on weekends.Â
