Orchid Bowl is the perfect bowling alley to take the kiddos to, especially if they're going to be bowling for the first time.
The bowling lanes at Orchid Bowl has side bumpers for the little ones to bowl. As such, the ball is guaranteed to hit the pins, and NOT end up in the gutter! Also, these bumpers can be programmed to only come up when it’s the child(ren)'s turn to bowl.
And that's not all. The bowling alley also provides "Dragon Ramps", which are available as part of a 1-hour bowling package. These ramps allow kids to push their bowling ball down the ramp, instead of having to carry and swing the ball that might be too heavy for the small hands. Also with these ramps, it will enable the ball to roll straight onto the lane and knock down some (or all!) of the pins!
The outlet at Our Tampines Hub also conducts Highway 66 sessions - likened to miniature bowling for kids. The lanes are with shorter with automated bumpers. Lighter 5-pound bowling balls (with 5 holes, instead of the usual 3 holes) are also offered for younger kids.
Orchid Bowl also runs "glow-in-the-dark" or cosmic bowling sessions, complete with disco lights.
