Heading over to Tokyo in March or over the March School Holidays? You may wish to note the Temporary Closure of Disneyland and DisneySea.

Due to fears over the outbeak of the COVID-19, both Disney resorts in Tokyo, Disneyland and DisneySea, have stated that they will be closed from 28 February 2020 until 15 March 2020. The Oriental Land Co., who operates both resorts, said it hoped to resume operations from March 16, but will look at the situation and developments as well as directions from the relevant official authorities.

With over 30 million visitors into the park every year, the move comes as the government steps up measures to tackle the outbreak of the virus.

If you are planning to visit Disneyland or DisneySea over the March school holidays, 14 - 22 March 2020, you may wish to stay updated on the resorts' website for updates on their re-opening dates.
