Hotels Can Apply To Start Accepting Staycation Bookings

The COVID-19 situation caused ripples through the tourism industry as families can't go on holidays, and hotels were not open for staycations. This might just change soon.  As Singapore's Phase 2 reopening continues, hotels may now start to apply* to the Government to accept bookings for staycations and reopen recreational areas for children.  *Note: Bookings are still not yet allowed at time of publishing (3 July 2020) A Safe Staycation Hotels must first comply with safe management measures drawn up for them by the Singapore Tourism Board, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Enterprise Singapore and Ministry of Health.
