Now that our lives are slowing getting back to normal, albeit a new norm, with the gradual reopening of restaurants, hotels and attractions, it would be a shame to not indulge in all your food cravings for fear of a lighter wallet, which is why we bring you a list of restaurant promotions and dining deals that you can benefit from this September!

1. For a Hearty Dinner: Oscar’s A La Carte Buffet

Oscar’s A La Carte Buffet from $55++ per person has been extended until the end of September due to overwhelming response, which is great news if you’ve yet to lay your hands on their fresh seafood spread.

Go on an empty stomach to indulge in shucked plump oysters, snow crabs, prawns, fresh tuna, and salmon and octopus sashimi platter. But leave some space for Oscar's signature Laksa Congee. If you’re craving something else, take your pick from the variety of flavors with dishes like Lobster Spaghetti Aglio Olio Pepperoncini, Mock Salmon Poke and Asian Roast Platter. End on a sweet note with your choice of dessert. Your options include the signature Chendol Gula Melaka Mousse and D24 Durian Puff.

From 1 Sep to 30 Sep 2020, Oscar’s A La Carte Buffet is available on weekdays (6 pm – 10 pm) from $55++ per person and from $65++ per person from Fridays to Sundays. The Buffet is also available during lunch (12.00 pm – 2.30 pm) on weekends from $65++.

2. For a Romantic Dinner Date: The Desginer Xperience at Xperience Restaurant

In celebration of the life of renowned creative director Karl Lagerfeld and his collaboration with SO, culinary designer Hong Dingzhao has curated an exclusive all-black menu available this September, the month of Karl Lagerfeld’s birthday.

The 3 Course Black Menu includes tuna tataki with black bean hummus, squid ink spaghetti with seafood aglio olio style, and SO/ burnt homemade cheesecake & mix berries compote, among others. The Black Menu is available for lunch and dinner daily in September (excluding Saturday lunch) at $55.

For a romantic dinner date, go all out with The Designer Xperience, which includes a 3 course set black menu, 2 hours free-flow wine, beers, Taittinger brut & gin cart, as well as a take-home gift by Karl Lagerfeld for $138 per person.

3. For Cantonese and Sichuan Specialities: The Best of Chef Chan’s Signatures at Min Jiang

This year, Goodwood Park Hotel is commemorating its 120-year legacy with a line-up of festivities scattered throughout the year, including mouth-watering F&B promotions.

In line with the hotel’s celebration of its anniversary every 10 years, Min Jiang will bring back the top 10 dishes skilfully prepared by Master Chef Chan Hwan Kee in the past decade. Featuring dishes such as Pan-seared Wagyu Beef with Mixed Vegetable Salad and Goma Sauce and Braised Noodles with Lobster and Hon Shimeji Mushrooms, The Best of Chef Chan’s Signatures will be available daily for lunch and dinner from 6 Jul to 20 Sep 2020 at the Tudor Courtyard, where the restaurant is currently located due to refurbishment works.

Gordon Grill, a steakhouse at Goodwood Park Hotel pays homage to the hotel’s legacy with a selection of lesser-known dishes from the different Germanic regions, refined for today’s cosmopolitan palate, which includes seared Atlantic sea scallops, Bavarian sauerkraut soup and Crispy Bavarian pork belly with caraway gravy.

Available for lunch and dinner daily from 22 Aug to 21 Sep 2020, a 3-Course Set Lunch is priced at $68 per person, and a 4-Course Set Lunch and Dinner is priced at $88 per person while a 5-Course Degustation Lunch and Dinner is priced at $98 per person.

Back by popular demand, Din Tai Fung’s Steamed Tom Yum Xiao Long Bao is 40% larger than the original Xiao Long Bao! Enclosed within the bun are juicy pork & shrimp filling in a spicy Tom Yum broth simmered with lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, Thai chilies, & lime juice!

The Steamed Tom Yum Xiao Long Bao is available from 1 Sep to 30 Sep 2020, while stocks last, at $8++ for 4 pieces.

Contemporary Chinese restaurant BLOSSOM is currently having a menu of $38 specials for dine-in guests until 31 Oct 2020, including a whole Peking Duck. Other dishes on the menu include Steamed Boston Lobster with Garlic and Vermicelli, Pan-friend A4 Wagyu Steak and Braised Bird’s Nest with Fish Maw and Crab Meat.
