Starting from Mon, 12 April 2021, with the easing of safe management measures, buffets will finally be allowed at F&B outlets again, but with strict guidelines in place.

What Is Allowed?

The Association of Catering Professionals Singapore, announced that staff-served buffets can resume from Mon, 12 Apr. That means you and your family can start booking your next buffet meal already! However, buffets at weddings, funerals, social activities within corporate settings are still not allowed.

Guidelines

While buffets are back, certain guidelines will be in place and the experience may still be different from before. First, buffets will not be self-serviced but served by a staff, who is required to have masks and gloves. The buffet line must also be covered with plastic shields or barriers. And masks must be worn by diners queueing for food and they are to observe a 1m distance from the next person in line.

What do you think of this news? Are you looking forward to your first family buffet experience since the pandemic started?
