  • Roar Bar & Grill

A family-friendly brewery style dining place that offers the perfect, safe and laid-back environment for the whole family to enjoy! You will enjoy the indoor settings as well as the massive Adventure Playground!

  • Old Coast Road Brewery

Located on a scenic 60-acre rural property, the brewery boasts not only an outdoor play area for the kids but also a mini-golf with 18 of Western Australia's most loved natural icons being featured!

  • Eagle Falls Spur

Having earned a international reputation for its generous portions of great-tasting, high quality, nutritious and value-for-money food, Eagle Falls Spurs provides the ideal venue for a fun, casual and relaxing family meal out. The kids will love the indoor playground and games consoles. There's also a fully licensed bar so the adults can enjoy an alcoholic beverage or two, while the kids play their hearts out.

  • Sharky’s Mandurah

Opening Hours: Everyday, from 10am to 8 pm

If you are in Mandurah and looking to enjoy a good meal, while letting the kids play, Sharky’s is the place to go! The restaurant has a dedicated family dining space that includes TVs and a fully fenced playground. There's also an outdoor dining area where you might be lucky enough to spot a local dolphin!

  • The Crooked Carrot

Opening Hours: Mon to Sun, 6am to 4pm

The Crooked Carrot in Myalup (just north of Bunbury) is totally worth the drive to stay, play, enjoy great food with a quirky twist, and make a day of it! There's also an awesome wooden adventure playground that features nature based play, old trucks/tractors, a toddler play area, a large climbing cargo net, giant chess, some backyard, farm themed musical play, and even a restored Melbourne tram!

  • The Carine Glades Tavern

Location: 493 Beach Road, Duncraig
Opening Hours:
Everyday, 10am to 12am

The Carine has a large, gated outdoor playground, as well as a mini golf area. The restaurant also has an extensive kids menu with generous serves, plus, kids eat for free on Tuesdays, otherwise all meals are only $12 or $15 with a drink and ice cream.

  • Whale & Ale Tavern

Opening Hours:
Sun to Thu, 11am to 9pm | Fri to Sat, 11am to 11.30pm

The Whale & Ale Tavern has a gated play area outside with tables for families to sit and watch. Their kids offerings are all $10.90 ($13 with a drink and ice cream), and include bangers & mash and junior beef sliders. You can also buy activities bags for $2.

  • Masonmill Gardens [Temporarily Closed]

Located in the hills and surrounded by jarrah forests, Masonmill Gardens has a beautiful nature-play playground, a mini 18-hole golf course with a bouncy castle and a fabulous Koi pond for the kids to enjoy. Kids also have a few different breakfast and lunch options (with free juice box), or if they’re feeling a little fancier why not indulge them in a Children’s High Tea?

  • The Herdsman Lake Tavern

 Mon to Wed, 11am to 10pm | Thu to Fri, 11am to 11pm | Sat, 10am to 11pm | Sun, 10am to 10pm

The Herdsman Lake Tavern is a popular destination for families with a large indoor play area (which includes a complex climbing tunnel and a large slide), and a regular Kids Eat Free offer every Sunday. 

Their kids menu is also capped at $10 each, with gluten free options for things like fish and chips and chicken nuggets too.

  • Siena’s Italian

Opening Hours: Mon to Thu, 5pm to 10pm | Fri to Sun, 11.30am to 10pm

Siena's Italian of Leederville offers a very kid-friendly menu and an enclosed playroom for little ones to play in. Located at the rear of the restaurant, it features a climbing fort, balance objects, several mini kids activities and a TV screen – so parents can enjoy fine Italian food and an extensive selection of wine with peace of mind.

  • Clancy’s Fish Pub Fremantle

It’s hard to imagine Fremantle without Clancy's. Like the name suggests, seafood and beer (mostly local, mostly craft) are the kitchen’s main stocks in trade but what also shouldn't be overlooked is the enormous open green field and kids’ play areas that surround the building, in Princess May Park.

While the kids menu ain’t huge (fish and chips or ricotta gnocchi), the meals do come with a free juice, and you can be darn sure they’ll be tuckered out after running around with the other kids on the expansive back lawn.
