Venue: The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay
Date: 3 August 2025
Admission: Free

Get ready to feel the heartbeat of Singapore at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay, this 3 August! Celebrate the National Day like no other as you gather with families, friends, classmates and communities in the crowd. Themed ā€œTies That Bloomā€, this SG60 edition of NDC celebrates the bonds that have brought us here, and which will continue to take us forward.

A Nation at 60: Shared Voices, Shared Spirit

You’ll be in good company with crowd-favourite hosts Gurmit Singh, Nithiya Rao, Yasminne Cheng, and Zhin Sadali as they guide you through this unforgettable night. The seventh edition of the National Day Concert is packed with touching performances that celebrate the bonds we share — as friends, families, and fellow Singaporeans.

Feel the unity all around you as the crowd joins in a mass singalong led by none other than Kit Chan é™ˆę“ä»Ŗ, belting out the beloved National Day classic Home. This powerful moment becomes even more moving with live sign language interpretation by Deaf interpreter Faaiqah Alkaff, embracing the spirit of inclusivity.

But that’s not all — new anthems bloom too. Kit is joined by singer-songwriter Charlie Lim for a heartfelt performance of this year’s NDP song, Here We Are. And from there, the night blossoms into a series of multigenerational, multicultural performances, each one celebrating the ties that make Singapore home.

A Heartfelt Line-Up Celebrating Family, Friendship & the Singapore Spirit

The concert continues to bloom with even more exciting performances to celebrate the National Day. Feel the energy rise as Taufik Batisah kicks off a lively medley of National Day favourites like Di Tanjong Katong and Chan Mali Chan, joined by 10-year-old music instrumentalist Lyla Ng 黄姿宁. It’s a joyful tribute to Singapore’s multicultural spirit.

Next, DJ Chua Lee Lian č””ē¤¼čŽ² from LOVE 972 brings the nostalgia with Friendship Forever (细氓长流), followed by Alemay Fernandez, whose soulful voice delivers One People, One Nation, One Singapore. Young talents then take the spotlight, led by Meenakshy Bhaskar in a spirited performance of the folk classic Munnaeru Vaalibaa.

The evening becomes even more personal with touching performances that celebrate family and friendship. Watch JJ Neo ę¢å˜‰é– share the stage with her mother Lucy Chow å‘Ø如ē , alongside dancers of all abilities in a beautiful tribute to parenthood. The love continues as Rahimah Rahim performs with her sister Rozie Rahim and granddaughter ALY — three generations united in song.

For the first time ever, sisters Tay Kewei 郑åÆäøŗ and Tay Kexin 郑åÆåæƒ perform together, inviting you to relive memories of youth. Romance takes the stage with real-life couple Annetha Ayyavoo and Mark Sara, while Shazza reunites with her old a cappella group, NP Voices, bringing the segment full circle with friendship and fun.

But the concert isn’t just about celebration — it’s about inclusion and unity too. Be moved by The Purple Symphony, Singapore’s largest inclusive orchestra made up of musicians with and without disabilities as they will bring audiences a heartfelt medley of familiar local tunes, blending Eastern and Western instruments in a moving tribute to Singapore’s 60th birthday.

And it’s not over yet! Witness the first-ever live performance of the concert’s theme song, Ties That Bloom by Hady Mirza, brought to life with multicultural dancers and vibrant rhythms. Then Yung Raja keeps the beat going with his fresh new single Miss Call, representing the bold voice of a new generation.

To end on a high, join President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Ms Jane Ittogi as they lead everyone in a powerful recitation of the National Pledge, followed by the singing of the National Anthem — a reminder of how far we’ve come, and where we’re headed together.
