Get ready to dive into an awe-inspiring marine journey at the brand-new Singapore Oceanarium, opening 24 July 2025, with 22 immersive zones and more. Celebrate SG60 in a big way at the National Museum of Singapore, with its largest-ever National Day festivities — from the iconic façade projection and LEGO showcase to a full day of activities on 9 August. Lace up for a good cause at Walk for Our Children ft RBC Race for the Kids, featuring a scenic 2km Fun Walk, a 5km Timed Race, carnival fun, and more. Don’t miss the Singapore Garden Festival Orchid Show at the National Orchid Garden, where Singapore residents enjoy free entry and a stunning display of award-winning blooms. And for a fun, cultural weekend with the kids, head to Eat, Play, Explore – The Peranakan Edition at Village Hotel Sentosa — packed with crafts, treats, and storytelling for the whole family.

1. Explore 22 Immersive Zones at the All-New Singapore Oceanarium

Admission: $50 per adult, $39 per child (ages 4 to 12 years old) and $39 per senior citizen (ages 60 and above), with discounts for Singapore residents (check tickets on Klook)

Singapore’s newest marine attraction opens at Resorts World Sentosa on 24 July 2025, and it’s nothing short of spectacular! The Singapore Oceanarium invites families to dive into 22 themed zones, packed with mesmerising displays—from Moon Jellies and ancient marine giants to deep-sea creatures, vibrant coral reefs, and majestic sharks. Beyond the tanks, you’ll find interactive exhibits, AR experiences, and thrilling features like the suspended Pier Adventure and a life-sized 9th-century dhow.

2. Celebrate SG60 at the National Museum of Singapore

Venue: National Museum of Singapore
Date: 18 Jul to 9 Aug 2025 (Full celebrations on 9 Aug)
Time: Various timings; full-day programme on 9 Aug from 10am
Fee: Free admission (selected activities may require registration or refundable deposit)
Celebrate SG60 in a big way at the National Museum of Singapore from 18 July to 9 August 2025 with its largest-ever National Day festivities!
Highlights include the dazzling Canvas of Light facade projection show each night, a creative LEGO exhibition where kids can build and play, and more! On 9 August 2025, enjoy over 20 special programmes across four museum levels, including live performances, hands-on art stations, and a picnic-style live screening of the National Day Parade on the museum lawn. Don’t miss special promos too, like kaya cruffins at Café Brera for just $10.

3. Sign Up for the Walk for our Children 2025 ft RBC Race for the Kids

Venue: National Stadium, Singapore
Dates: 17 Aug 2025, 9am to 6pm
Fees: from $22
Lace up for a meaningful day at Walk for our Children ft RBC Race for the Kids, happening on 17 August 2025 (9am to 6pm) at the National Stadium!
Organised by Singapore Children’s Society, this heartwarming charity event features a scenic 2km Fun Walk and a 5km Timed Race (from $22 per child), along with exciting carnival activities like face painting, FunClaw machines, Marvel character meet-and-greets, and a 360° selfie booth. Families can also take part in the unique Developmental Relationships (DR) Quest—an interactive journey that fosters empathy and connection through simple, reflective activities. Enjoy stage performances, take part in a mega lucky draw with prizes like return tickets to Tokyo, and complete all five DR booths to redeem a gift.

4. Visit the Singapore Garden Festival Orchid Show at the National Orchid Garden - Free Entry for Locals!

From now to 27 July 2025, immerse yourself in a stunning display of award-winning orchids at the Singapore Garden Festival Orchid Show in the National Orchid Garden — with free entry for Singapore residents!

Discover exquisite competition orchids from both hobbyists and professionals, join the daily guided tour (10am to 11am, ages 9+), and take part in The Extra-Orchidnary Hunt on 26 and 27 July 2025, where kids can win limited-edition prizes. Explore the MarketPlace on 26 and 27 July 2025 for unique plants and lifestyle products, and enjoy convenient free shuttle services from key points around the Gardens.

5. Celebrate Peranakan Culture With Family Fun at Village Hotel Sentosa

Celebrate Peranakan culture with the whole family at Eat, Play, Explore – The Peranakan Edition at Village Hotel Sentosa, happening every Friday and Saturday till 26 July 2025.

Head to the Village Baba-Bazaar at the hotel lobby for Peranakan crafts, sweet treats like Chendol and Tutu Kueh, and hands-on activities such as batik painting and tile colouring (2pm to 5pm). Admission is free for hotel guests, or $5 for public visitors (includes 1 craft + 1 treat).

Round off the experience with Tiffin Tales on 25 or 26 July 2025 — a cosy three-course Peranakan dinner at Native Kitchen paired with heartwarming kampong stories by authors Josephine Chia and Dr. Lee Su Kim (tickets from $37.50, limited seats). Don’t forget to snap family photos at the colourful lobby showcase or stroll over to Sentosa Sensoryscape for immersive installations and heritage-themed fun.
