Eat, Play, Explore – The Peranakan Edition
This July, Village Hotel Sentosa invites families to dive into a rich tapestry of culture, creativity, and play with Eat, Play, Explore – The Peranakan Edition – a month-long programme that brings Peranakan heritage to life through hands-on experiences and family-friendly fun.
Running every Friday and Saturday until 26 July 2025, this vibrant celebration is part of Sentosa’s wider Peranakan festivities, thoughtfully designed for both adults and children to enjoy together.
Village Baba-Bazaar – Where Heritage Comes Alive
At the heart of the festivities is the Village Baba-Bazaar at Village Hotel Sentosa Lobby, a vibrant pop-up filled with cultural charm. Highlights include:

Peranakan Market (Fri & Sat, 11am to 8pm): Discover a curated mix of handmade crafts and cultural treasures by local artisans at the Peranakan Market, alongside merchandise from the SentosaShop Mobile Kiosk. Look out for DIY batik kits, one-of-a-kind souvenirs, and the special Peranakan-themed Singapore Cable Car collectible series, perfect as gifts or keepsakes.

Hands-on Peranakan Crafts (Sat, 2pm to 5pm): Families can unleash their creativity with a rotating line-up of drop-in craft activities inspired by Peranakan motifs, from shrink-art keychains and tile colouring to batik painting. Fun, interactive, and suitable for children of all ages, these sessions offer the perfect opportunity for parent-child bonding.

Traditional Treats (Sat, 2pm to 5pm): Refuel with a rotating selection of local delights, including Chendol, Bubur Cha Cha, Tutu Kueh, and Nyonya Kueh, offering a sweet surprise with each visit.
