This limited-time self-guided trail lets little explorers join Chase, Marshall, Skye and the rest of the pups on a museum-wide adventure while discovering fascinating dinosaur facts.

Collect a PAW Patrol Trail Booklet at the ticketing counter before setting off to complete fun challenges, solve puzzles and explore themed trail stops throughout the museum. On weekends (11am to 4pm), kids can also create their own PAW Patrol badge to bring home, while PAW Patrol-themed photo spots add to the fun. Don't forget to visit the museum's iconic sauropod dinosaur skeletons for an awe-inspiring finale!

2. Try 30+ Free Sports at Decathlon Sports Fest 2026

Returning for its second edition, Decathlon Sports Fest is back on 15 and 16 August 2026 at Decathlon Singapore Lab Kallang. With over 30 sports available to try for free, this family-friendly event offers a fun and active way to spend the weekend together while discovering new sports and hobbies.

The best part? No experience or sports equipment is needed. Simply show up and give a new sport a go. From exciting activities like Fencing and Ice Hockey to Pet Obstacles that your furry friends can join, there is something for every member of the family to enjoy. Friendly coaches will also be on-site to guide beginners through their first try.

When it's time to recharge, head to the food zone for a variety of food and drink options, including Halal and vegetarian-friendly choices. Don't forget to pick up a Sports Fest Passport too—collect stamps as you try different sports and redeem exciting rewards along the way.

3. Catch Shooting Stars with the Kids During the
Perseids Meteor Shower

Looking for a magical late-night adventure with the kids? The Perseids meteor shower, one of the year’s most spectacular meteor displays, will peak on the nights of 12 and 13 August 2026.

Known for its bright, fast-moving “shooting stars” and occasional dazzling fireballs, the Perseids occur when Earth passes through debris left behind by Comet Swift-Tuttle. While the shower is active from late July to mid-August, the best chance of spotting more meteors is during the pre-dawn hours from around 3am to 6am on the peak nights.

The best part? No special equipment is needed and viewing is free! Head to a dark, open location away from city lights, such as a park, beach or reservoir, and simply look up. Allow your eyes around 20–30 minutes to adjust to the darkness, and check the weather forecast for clear skies before heading out.

4. Turn an Everyday Sarong into an Adventure with
The Amazing Sarong

5. Climb, Slide & Play at Woodlands Waterfront Park's Revamped Playground

Location: Admiralty Road West

Venture to the Northernmost tip of Singapore and you’ll find Woodlands Waterfront Park, a park that boasts great views of Johor Bahru! Families will also be excited to know that the park's playground has reopened recently. 

Woodlands Waterfront Park Playground boast a Amazon structure where children can clamber up and down, as well as test their climbing skills. A curvy slide awaits at the end of their climb! Younger ones aren’t forgotten either, with a section dedicated entirely to the younger ones. Everything here is scaled down in size, right down to a smaller slide. 

The playground has a second ship-themed play structure, which seems to be geared more towards the younger kids. There are lots of climbing opportunities here too, as well as a cute interactive board where kids are tasked to help starfish get from one end to another.

While at the park, definitely don't miss the 400-metre-long jetty that is the longest recreational jetty in Singapore!
