What to Expect at PAssionArts Festival 2025
This year’s theme, “Our Neighbourhood Gems,” invites you to explore what makes your community special. Held across more than 60 festival villages from July to September, the festival offers hands-on art workshops, live performances, and spectacular installations throughout a three-month celebration, all co-created by residents just like you.
A key highlight this year is the return of the large-scale art installations, Giant Delight, which will be upsized to debut as a Giant Delight SG60 Edition to commemorate Singapore’s 60th birthday at the National Day Heartland Celebrations on 10 August 2025.
Giant Delight Transforms Heartlands with Mega Art Installation
Giant Delight returns to PAssionArts Festival with large-scale community art that showcases creative diversity on a larger scale, inspired by the theme “Our Neighbourhood Gems”. This year’s SG60 Edition features even larger mega- installations, in addition to a series of three structures: a wooden hexagon, a wooden octagon, and an acrylic prism tower.
This year, Giant Delight will see residents coming together again to create installations based on these prefabricated wooden and acrylic structures, paying tribute to neighbourhood icons and celebrating the symbols, stories, places and people of their heartlands.
You can look forward to a host of uniquely local experiences and artistic tributes happening across more than 60 neighbourhoods, with exciting highlights planned by the different Community Arts and Culture Clubs (CACCs) including:
-
A giant birdcage filled with colourful handmade birds at Kebun Baru
-

-
