The Singapore Cat Festival 2026 is returning for a weekend celebration of feline culture on 7 and 8 November at Singapore EXPO Hall 6. Whether your family owns a pet cat, is looking to adopt, or simply loves animals, the two-day event features more than 100 exhibitors, a creative Artist Alley, giant interactive photo installations, and stage competitions.
Featuring artwork by Official Festival Artist inwarmregard inspired by Singaporeβs neighbourhood community cats, this year's edition brings a playful, local touch to the festival space.
Giant Interactive Photo Zones
Newly added for 2026, the festival floor includes dedicated interactive photo zones featuring larger-than-life cat inflatables and oversized feline structures. Designed as an immersive walk-through space, these installations give children and families plenty of room to explore and snap fun photos together.
Cat Marketplace & Artist Alley
Parents and pet owners can browse through an expansive marketplace of over 100 exhibitors offering cat food, treats, grooming essentials, and pet accessories.
Next to the main marketplace, the Artist Alley showcases independent local creators and cat-loving artists. Families can pick up cat-inspired art prints, handmade crafts, illustrations, and unique lifestyle gifts to take home.
CFA Cat Show & Adoption Drives
For families keen to learn more about different breeds and responsible pet care, the festival hosts two major feline showcases:
-
CFA Cat Show: Presented by the Feline Fanciers Society of Singapore (FFSS), this competition features pedigreed and household cats evaluated by international judges. It offers visitors a close-up look at different cat breeds and their unique characteristics.
-
Adoption Drive: Meet cats looking for forever homes and connect with local animal welfare groups. Staff and volunteers will be on-site to share insights on fostering, volunteering, and the responsibilities of bringing a rescue cat into your family.
Stage Competitions, Movie Screenings & Goodie Bags
Beyond shopping, families can enjoy a lineup of entertainment throughout the day:
-
Best Dressed Cat Competition: Watch feline companions take the stage in creative costumes.
-
Interactive Challenges: Take part in casual, cat-inspired stage games and trend challenges with prizes up for grabs.
-
Movie Screening & Rest Areas: Unwind between activities at dedicated family rest zones with food and beverage options while watching a movie screening.
-
Event Goodie Bags: Visitors can collect an exclusive goodie bag packed with product samples and treats from participating brands (available daily while stocks last).
BYKidO Tip for Parents
Admission is completely free for children aged 12 and below, making this a budget-friendly weekend activity. If you plan to bring your own family cat to the festival, make sure your pet is comfortable in busy indoor environments and kept safely inside a sturdy cat carrier or fitted with a secure harness at all times.
