Sanrio Moonlit Garden at VivoCity: 6 Immersive Zones, Giant Inflatables & More

Sanrio fans! Get ready for an exciting Sanro-themed Mid-Autumn festival at VivoCity - meet & greet with your favourite characters, capture photos of mesmerising light installations and much more!

A Sanrio-themed Mid-Autumn Festival has taken over VivoCity, and we couldn’t be more excited! Happening from now till 27 September 2026 (10am to 10pm daily, light-up from 6pm to 10pm), the entire mall has transformed into the cutest Sanrio wonderland.

Moonlit Garden Gateway

Begin your adventure with a great photo op with Hello Kitty and friends. Which character is your favourite?

Cinnamoroll Secret Garden Grove

Keep a lookout for the cutest huge inflatables, such as this gigantic Cinnamoroll cutie.

Cinnamoroll’s secret garden is lined with an enchanting lantern walk filled with riddles. Test your knowledge, and see how many you can solve. 

Bonus: The first 50 guests to solve a selection of five riddles (every hour between 5pm and 9pm) can redeem an exclusive Sanrio sticker set! Redemption will be at Lobby L (L3)

Hello Kitty Starlit Lantern Walk

Take a walk under a curtain of colourful lanterns. We recommend visiting just before sunset to watch the scene transform before your very eyes! 

The lantern walk is framed by two large inflatables (Hello Kitty and My Melody). 

Hangyodon Moonlit Water Garden

Take a moment by the tranquil Hangyodon Moonlit Water Garden. Our daughter had fun counting the floating lotus lanterns; in fact, why not continue the game by asking your child to sort the flowers by colour, too? 

There’s a cute photo op here in the form of a boat. Climb in, and row away!

Pompompurin Mooncake Tea Party

The star of the show? A seven-metre-tall Pompompurin inflatable! It towers over an adorable tea party, and you’re all invited to join in. Clamber into two larger-than-life teacups, and strike a pose.

Kuromi Carnival Kingdom

The party continues at the carnival zone (5pm to 10pm daily), where exciting games and prizes await.

All of the games are child-friendly — trust us, your kid will have a blast. There are also step stools for younger children who might need an extra height boost.

Meet your favourite Sanrio character

And hey, what’s a Sanrio party without some of the beloved Sanrio characters dropping by to say hi? Spend a minimum of S$80 in a single receipt to redeem an exclusive meet-and-greet pass (first-come-first-serve, limited to the first 30 qualifying redemptions per session, one redemption per member).

Of course, what’s a Sanrio party without some cool merch? Located at East Court (L1), this nifty pop-up offers a whole line-up of exclusive Sanrio goodies. We spotted bags, shirts, blind boxes, and more. Just take all our money already!

We especially enjoyed rolling up our sleeves to make our own D.I.Y. bag tag.
