RoboFest 2026: Science Centre Singapore’s first-of-its-kind festival exploring the future of robotics and AI for families.

If your children are constantly asking "How does that work?" or are fascinated by the world of AI and robots, RoboFest 2026 is your must-visit destination this April. Moving beyond a typical static exhibition, this four-day festival atĀ Science Centre Singapore invites families to touch, play, and even try your hand at programming the technology that is shaping our future.

The Playground

The festival is split into four experiential zones, with The Playground being the heart of the action for high-energy learners with "My Colleague is a Robot Dog", an exclusive, limited-run comedy performance featuring insights into robot-human interaction.

The show happens at the following times

  • Thurs, 9 Apr: 11am - 11.30am, 3pm - 3.30pm
  • Fri, 10 Apr: 11.30am - 12pm, 3pm - 3.30pm
  • Sat, 11 Apr: 11am - 11.30am, 2.30pm - 3pm
  • Sun, 12 Apr: 11am - 11.30am, 2.30pm - 3pm

Families are in for an electrifying adventure! Watch jaw-dropping live robot boxing matches, witness heroic fire-fighting dogs in action, and unleash your creativity by building your very own bots. Challenge friends and family in thrilling multi-player AI prompt battles, then put your detective skills to the ultimate test as you hunt down AI-generated media. It's an unforgettable experience where cutting-edge technology meets family fun!

Robotics in Real Life

Ever wondered how robots will help us at home? This zone features innovations showing how tech isn't just for toys—it’s for care and utility.

  • Robi Butler: Families can experience a "Zoom call" with a household robot assistant and interact with it via voice and gestures.Ā 

  • Bio-inspired Robots: See a palm-sized robot that swims exactly like an octopus, showcasing the potential of biomimetic design in underwater robotics.

  • Dragonfly: Meet an autonomous mosquito-control robot that identifies and traps pests—a very practical innovation for Singapore!

The Learning Hub: Hands-on Workshops

For parents looking for a deep dive into STEM, the Learning Hub offers a first look at the latest educational tools before they hit the mainstream.

  • LEGOĀ® Education Sneak Peek: Be among the first in Singapore to try the new Computer Science & AI Kit.Ā 

  • Meet Ameca: Interact with one of the world's most advanced humanoid robots and practice "prompt engineering."

  • Programming and Coding: Children can engage in activitiesĀ  to programme the humanoid robot "TonyBot," try drone coding fundamentals, and understand how cameras process visual data.

RoboCup Singapore 2026

From 11 to 12 April, the RoboCup Arena will heat up as teams compete in the 18th edition of this prestigious competition. Guests will be able to watch "human teamwork meet machine capabilitiesā€ through the Humaniod soccer show matches.

RoboFest 2026 happens at Science Centre Singapore from 9 to 12 Apr, and is open from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays (9 - 10 Apr) and 10 am to 6 pm (11 - 12 Apr).
