What’s Sustainability Fun About

Launched in 2015 as a post-examination school programme, Race to Sustainability! is one of Gardens by the Bay's signature initiatives for sustainability education for students. Since its inception, the programme has engaged nearly 20,000 students across primary and secondary levels.

This year’s edition offers a fun and creative way to make sustainability easier to understand and remember, as visitors of all ages explore Biogirl MJ’s comic panels around the Gardens to learn about climate change and discover how Singapore is transforming into a global city of sustainability.

Explore the SG60 Comic Trail with Biogirl MJ

It’s time to make learning to be more fun and explore the world of sustainability through the SG60 Comic Trail, created by Biogirl MJ — known for her fun and engaging science content with her channel, Just Keep Thinking. Wander around Gardens by the Bay to discover 10 life-sized comic panels that bring Singapore’s sustainability milestones to life.

From the OneMillionTrees Movement and hornbill conservation, to the solar-powered Supertrees and water-saving ecosystems, each panel tells a story of how Singapore is building a greener, more sustainable future. The trail is free to explore, with admission charges applying only for the Flower Dome.

Join a Free Wildlife Talk for All Ages

Families can also attend “Wildlife of Singapore”, a free public talk by Biogirl MJ on 2 November 2025 (4.30pm – 5.30pm) at the Flower Field Hall. Discover fascinating facts about the wildlife living among us and learn how to live harmoniously with nature. The session is perfect for curious kids and parents alike!
