Venue: VivoCity
Dates: 21 - 24 Nov 2025, 10 am - 9 pm
Admission: Free

For parents seeking an enriching, engaging, and memorable day out with the children, look no further than Navy@Vivo 2025. This highly anticipated event, returning to VivoCity after its 2023 edition, offers a fantastic, free opportunity for families to learn about Singapore’s maritime nation and the vital role of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).

Running from 21–24 November 2025, NV25 will be open daily from 10 am to 9 pm. With interactive exhibits, ship visits, and live performances, it promises a perfect blend of education and fun for all ages, offering valuable experience and showcasing the RSN’s expertise and authoritativeness in safeguarding the seas.

Adventure and Discovery for the Whole Family

The event is structured across several exciting areas, ensuring there is something to capture every family member’s interest:

1. The Immersive Shore Exhibition

Located at the Central and North Courts, Level 1, the exhibition is an experiential journey with four zones designed to teach children and adults about sea trade, naval duties, and career opportunities:

  • Who's Gonna Safeguard Our Lifelines?: Learn how critical the sea is for everyday necessities.

  • Who's Gonna Stand The Watch?: Featuring a popular submarine exhibit that lets visitors experience life aboard a sub, alongside virtual simulators used to train sailors. This hands-on area is a must-visit for curious young minds.

  • Who's Gonna Guard The Unseen?: An Immersive Theatre offers a front-row experience of the Navy's operations.

  • Who's Gonna Answer The Call?: Explore the different Navy vocations, which could spark an early interest in future career paths for older children.

The exhibition also features the SAF60 Exhibition Showcase, tracing the Singapore Armed Forces' transformation and future plans, themed "Defending Our Home, Securing Our Future."

2. RSS Resolution Ship Visit

This is a true highlight for any aspiring sailor! Families can step aboard the RSS Resolution, an Endurance-class Landing Ship Tank (LST) and one of the Navy's largest ships, at the Promenade, Level 1.

Visitors will get a first-hand look at what it takes to operate such a large vessel and learn about its capabilities. A thrilling bonus is the chance to see the S-70B Seahawk Naval Helicopter on display on the flight deck.

Parents should note: The visit involves navigating tight spaces and climbing approximately 12 flights of stairs—about 120 steps in total. It is a fantastic physical challenge and a memorable adventure, but parents should ensure their children are prepared for the activity.

Also, security checks will be carried out at the VivoCity Promenade before visitors are allowed to board the ship. Therefore, to facilitate quicker crowd movement, we strongly advise parents to avoid bringing large bags and bulky items for a quicker process.

3. Fast Craft Utility (FCU) Ride

For a truly exhilarating experience, ballot for tickets to take an FCU ride along Singapore's southern coastline. Visitors will get a unique view of the Singapore skyline and learn about the maritime heritage. Life jackets are mandatory as the ride may encounter choppy waves, adding to the sense of adventure!

Do note that the ship visit and FCU ride require separate ticket. Families who successfully balloted for the FCU rides will be allowed to proceed with the LST ship visit after the ride. However, as tickets for the FCU rides are limited in quantity, visitors who are keen only on the ship visit are highly encouraged to ballot only for the LST ship visit to increase their chances of success.

4. Live Performances

Head over to the Amphitheatre, Level 3, to enjoy exciting live performances, including Boat Physical Training demonstrations by the Naval Diving Unit (NDU) and an energetic repertoire from the SAF Music and Drama Company (MDC). There are also family-friendly crowd favourites, such as opportunities to try on Navy uniforms and take part in Navy-themed art-and-craft activities.

Ticketing and Balloting

Happening from 21 to 24 Nov at VivoCity, the main Shore Exhibition and Live Performances are free and open to all members of the public, while the high-demand activities—the RSS Resolution Ship Visit and the Fast Craft Utility ride—require a ticket.

Parents must ballot for tickets here. Ensure you do not miss out, as balloting closes on 12 October 2025, 23:59.

Here's a little tip! If you do not receive tickets, you are also welcome to walk-in and queue, subject to availability. However, admission is not guaranteed as ticket holders with the allocated timeslots will be prioritised.

This unique event offers a powerful, tangible way for your family to connect with Singapore’s maritime history and future, making it a highly recommended outing for an educational and adventurous weekend. Be sure to ballot for your spot today - click here for more details!
