Venue: Outdoors @ The Discovery Lake

Bring along the newly self-made rabbit lantern as you embark on a Lantern Walk around the beautifully lit lake while listening to stories about the Mid-Autumn Festival! The storytellers will engage with your family as they share stories about the Mid-Autumn Festival, like why did the rabbit end up on the moon with Chang-e? Why is Wu Gang also on the moon, and why does he keep cutting the tree?
The walk happens every 30 mins between 7 pm and 9 pm. The walk is free and you can register for the Lantern Walk here. Pre-register early! Note that there are remaining slots for 21 Sep only.

We took part in a similar Lantern Walk at the Gallery where the kids (and parents) were wonderfully entertained by the engaging storytellers and gained new knowledge about the festival through the stories shared.

Getting To Singapore Discovery Centre
The Singapore Discovery Centre is one of our favourite places, but it is not one of the most accessible. Here are your options to get to the SDC.
The easiest option is to drive, cab or private hire to the venue. Otherwise, you may take a train to Joo Koon MRT Station (EW29), before taking SBS bus service 182 or 182M. Alternatively, you can take a 10min walk to SDC from the station.
