Chinatown comes alive this May with nostalgic games, lion dances, and hands-on heritage workshops at the Five Footway Festival.

Venue: Smith Street and Pagoda Street, Chinatown Singapore.
Dates: 2 - 10 May 2026
Admission: Free admission with paid workshops
Transport your family to the bustling streets of old Singapore at the Five Footway Festival 2026. Running from 2 to 10 May, this heritage celebration transforms Smith Street and Pagoda Street into a living museum. It is a fantastic Educational and Cultural day out, where kids can ditch the screens to discover how their grandparents played, ate, and lived.
The festival focuses on the "five-foot ways"âthe iconic covered walkways of Chinatownâs shophousesâbringing back the sights, sounds, and smells of a bygone era through immersive street programming.
