Early Childhood educators may only make up 1% of Singapore’s workforce, but they make a 100% difference in shaping our children’s future. This Teachers’ Day, the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) is inviting you to celebrate these unsung heroes at the “99% for the 1%” Teachers’ Day Pop-Up. Let’s participate!

Why Celebrate Early Childhood Educators?

Early Childhood and Early Intervention professionals play a vital role in children’s growth, from building resilience and empathy to nurturing curiosity and learning. Their impact goes beyond the classroom, making a lasting difference in society.

Through this pop-up initiative, you’re encouraged to move beyond one-off gestures and embrace ongoing appreciation, trust, and support for educators who give their all every day.

What to Expect at the Teachers’ Day Pop-Up

Step into an interactive experience where your appreciation becomes part of something bigger. By pressing a larger-than-life button, you’ll light up heartwarming messages on a giant LED screen. These messages, inspired by values of trust, respect, altruism, and empathy, celebrate the passion and professionalism of educators.

This is your chance to:

  • Show your gratitude in a meaningful way.
  • Recognize the everyday impact of Early Childhood educators.
  • Share positive values with your children by taking part together.
