The search for a spectacular yet family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration ends here! Families are invited to ring in 2026 at the The Kallang for an unforgettable night featuring one of the region's longest fireworks displays and an international concert headlined by K-pop royalty.

Countdown 2026 at The Kallang is set to be a vibrant, multi-venue event tailored for everyone, from K-pop fans to families with young children. The event strategically activates multiple spaces across the precinct to ensure a memorable, yet comfortable, experience for all patrons.

A Massively Fun Event for Families

This year's programme offers several compelling reasons for parents to bring their children, balancing world-class entertainment with practical family needs:

• Free Community Fun (Budget-Friendly): Admission to the The Kallang is free. Families can enjoy dedicated family-friendly entertainment, games, and performances at the OCBC Square and Water Sports Centre starting from 7.00 pm. Families can look forward to exciting activities at the OCBC Square such as lively puppet shows, a kids mass dance party and a Shimmer and Shine Zone where children can enjoy bubble popping fun! 

• Spectacular, Longest Fireworks Display: At 35 minutes, the fireworks over the Kallang Basin are the longest New Year’s Eve display in Singapore for this year. It unfolds across four chapters, starting at 9.00pm with a five-minute fireworks display to kickstart the celebrations. This early fireworks display is specially curated for families to enjoy before their young ones turn in for the night. Two additional chapters will take place before midnight, each set to dynamic colours and upbeat pop music to heighten anticipation for the finale. At the stroke of midnight, the climactic fourth chapter will light up the Kallang Basin with a breathtaking 15-minute display, accompanied by an electrifying performance by Super Junior.

• Accessible K-pop Experience: For families with older children who love K-pop, the Countdown 2026 Concert at Stadium Roar is a ticketed bargain at just $10 (excluding booking fees). This is a fantastic opportunity to see legendary K-pop group Super Junior, Chinese star Cheng Huan, and local artistes like Benjamin Kheng and Tabitha Nauser, without the expense of a full-scale concert.

• Dedicated Viewing Options: For maximum convenience, the concert will be broadcast live for free at satellite sites like the OCBC Square and Water Sports Centre. Furthermore, parents can opt for a premium experience at the new Countdown 2026 at The Kallang Beach Club ($100 for four people) or pre-order a festive picnic box ($50 for two), offering reserved comfort and spectacular fireworks views.

How to Sign Up and Get Tickets

There are options for all budgets, from free admission to premium concert tickets.

1. Countdown 2026 Concert (Ticketed)

This is for entry into the Stadium Roar to watch Super Junior, Cheng Huan, and more live on stage (starting at 8.30 pm). Each ticket includes a packet of water, chips and a disposable poncho.

2. Free Community Activations

Access to the wider The Kallang, family fun zones, countdown processions, and the live broadcast of the concert/fireworks are free.

3. Exclusive Hospitality Experiences (New this year)

• Beach Club Tickets: Priced at $100 for four people (excluding booking fee) for exclusive views and a live concert feed.
