Chingay 2024 Returns to the F1 Pit Building with Community Events For Families Too!

Happening on 23 and 24 Feb 2024, come get capitvated by the colours and sounds at Chingay 2024 happening at the F1 Pit Building.

At Chingay Parade 2024, audiences will be busked in the captivating theme of “Blossom.” The theme signifies the growth, transformation and flourishing of both individuals and communities and Chingay’s aspiration for like-minded people and partners to come together to blossom as one community. 

An Explosion of Colours

Families can expect the following highlights 

• 230m Interactive Floor Projection: Being Singapore’s longest floor projection ever for a street parade, audiences can immerse in it as creative graphics and special visuals light up this beautiful Chingay Garden!

• PAssionArts Street: Be sure to visit the art installations, make these your instagrammable spots and try your hands in the various art activities.

• Chingay National Education (NE) – Blossom ART-Venture: Explore the Chingay space, near/around the F1 Pit Building, which welcomes you with blossom-themed art installations made from recycled materials by the creative students from seven primary and secondary schools.

Chingay Concept Train

From 13 Feb to 10 Mar 2024, Chingay invites the public to experience the highly anticipated and energetic celebration of Singapore’s multiculturalism and diversity with its first concept train on the Circle Line.  Commuters also got to mingle with performers at selected stations.

Chingay 2024 in partnership with SMRT Trains and Stellar Ace, has transformed two trains into mesmerising flower gardens. The concept trains will feature adapted designs from two of this year’s Chingay floats titled ‘Blooming in Harmony’ and ‘Vanda Miss Joaquim’, and two Chingay community floats titled ‘Jewel in the Crown’ and ‘Ride the Wind and Waves’.  

On 18 Feb 2024, families also had the opportunity to take photos with the Chingay performers at the following Circle Line stations.
