If you’re looking for a wholesome family activity this May, it’s time to celebrate kindness, graciousness, and neighbourliness at Singapore Kindness Movement’s Kindness Day SG 2026. Taking place across three heartland locations — Punggol, Woodlands, and Tengah — on Saturday, 23 May 2026, the event invites families, children, and residents to discover how small acts of kindness can create a positive impact in the community.

Throughout the day, you can look forward to storytelling sessions, interactive installations, live performances, meet-and-greet opportunities, and hands-on activities suitable for all ages.

Enjoy Interactive Kindness Experiences With Your Family

Across all three locations, families can participate in a variety of engaging activities designed to inspire kindness and connection. One of the highlights is the “Greatness Starts Here” Reflection Zone, where you can stand before a mirror and choose uplifting messages about kindness and community. 

Families can also take part in the “Reach For Greatness” Challenge Wall, where simple kindness missions encourage participants to compliment strangers, thank volunteers, and connect with others.  

Another interactive experience is the “Kindness Is The Ride Thing To Do” installation, where you and your little ones can pedal stationary bicycles to light up a digital map of Singapore, symbolising how collective acts of kindness can make a difference. A hand-pedal option is also available for children, seniors, and persons with disabilities, making the activity inclusive and accessible for everyone.

Family-Friendly Activities For Kids

Children can also enjoy activities at the Kindsville Activity Booth, specially designed for kids from K2 to Primary 6. Here are some things they can engage in:

• Kindsville Mailbox: children can write letters to Singa and “post” it into the Singa mailbox. They can also choose to read their letter aloud through a microphone before posting it in the mailbox
• Bag Charm Keychain Making Station: upon completing the letters, they will get to redeem a DIY charm
• Layer Stamp: children can take a piece of postcard and stamp the card with 4 layers of stamp

Families can also contribute handprints at the Singa Bench Colouring activity as a pledge towards creating a kinder and more gracious Singapore.
