Get ready to travel back in time for an unforgettable adventure as the BBC Earth Screening Festival makes its thrilling return to Gardens by The Bay. The magnificent Supertree Grove will transform into a prehistoric paradise, showcasing a special episode of the reimagined BBC hit series, Walking With Dinosaurs. And the best part? Entry is completely free!

Brand-New BBC Earth Series - Walking with Dinosaurs

This brand-new BBC Earth series, 25 years after the original, blends cutting-edge science with state-of-the-art visual effects to bring colossal creatures and ancient landscapes to life like never before. Discover the incredible lives of six dinosaurs unearthed from real-world excavations.

This isn't just a film screening; it's a full-blown dinosaur festival designed to excite and engage the whole family. From the moment the festival grounds open at 5 PM, you'll be immersed in a world of ancient creatures and thrilling discoveries.

Festival Fringe Activities (From 5:00 PM)

Get ready for a fantastic line-up of hands-on activities that promise hours of fun before the main screening begins:

  • Dino-mite Photo Opportunities: Strike a pose with incredible dinosaur characters at Instagram-worthy photo spots. Don't forget to snap your best themed photo for a chance to redeem an exclusive, limited-edition BBC Earth tote bag, embroidered with a unique dino design!
  • Children's Fossil Excavation Pit: Budding palaeontologists can grab their tools and dig for hidden bones and eggs, unearthing secrets from Earth's distant past.

On-Screen Entertainment and Main Event (From 5:30 PM)

The excitement continues on the big screen and stage, leading up to the much-anticipated Walking With Dinosaurs episode:

  • 5:30 PM: The BBC Earth Festival officially opens, with the emcee introducing the day's activities.
  • 5:35 PM: Kids' content will begin screening, keeping the little ones entertained.
  • 6:30 PM: Get ready for some interactive fun with a Bluey on-stage activity and a Bluey and Bingo photo-taking opportunity.
  • 7:00 PM: Dive deeper into the world of dinosaurs with a fascinating Walking With Dinosaurs Q&A session.
  • 7:45 PM: Enjoy Gardens by The Bay's iconic Garden Rhapsody Performance, a dazzling light and music show featuring the Supertrees.
  • 8:00 PM: The moment you've been waiting for! Settle in for the special screening of the reimagined Walking With Dinosaurs episode
  • 9:00 PM: The episode concludes, and the festival draws to a close.

To truly embrace the spirit of the event, families are encouraged to come dressed in theme! Channel your inner explorer with an archaeologist-inspired outfit, or go all out in your favourite dinosaur costume or onesie.
