Details

A late lunch fix at the Food Republic of Somerset 313 last week found us at the children’s play area at the Sky Terrace on Level 5.

I loved that the floors are padded and that the playground equipment are low to the ground, hence making it very safe and conducive for younger children, even for the crawlers like Baby L.

Upon entering the playground, Baby L immediately made a beeline for the stairs and slide.

Up he goes…

…and down he comes!

Our little energizer bunny moves on to his next challenge, and climbs up the bridge!

“Don’t worry, Daddy. I got this!”

“See, that was easy!”

Right at the end of the playground, there’s also a “playhouse” with interactive panels for the kids to entertain themselves with.

There’s also a four-seater spring rider, which is too big for Baby L to ride on for now.

Kiddy rides are also available at the opposite side the playground.

Baby L and his Daddy off to battle evil in their Bat Car.

While the playground isn’t new, what makes it different from most outdoor playgrounds is that it’s sheltered. (Hurray!) Plus, we didn’t need to worry about the padded floors and playground equipment being too hot for our little one to crawl and/or climb on.

And even though the play area may be small, it is good enough to keep the kiddos happily occupied while you sit back and relax with a cuppa or two!

The hubby and I are definitely looking forward to bringing Baby L back here again =)
