Bright lights, loud noises and a smorgasbord of amusement rides and deceptively easy-looking games that bring out the competitive side in you, are all that makes carnivals great fun for everyone, from the young to the young at heart. And Uncle Ringo’s pop-up carnivals with its nostalgic games and kiddy rides are a favorite among many in Singapore. If you’re one of them, here are some places you can join in the fun this year-end!

1. The Great Christmas Village

Indulge in an assortment of family-friendly carnival games and kiddy rides over at The Great Christmas Village. While the event is spread across three venues, the Grange Road Carpark, *SCAPE and Shaw House Urban Plaza, you’ll be able to find inflatables, vertical spinner, pirate ship, and lots of carnival game booths at Grange Road Carpark and Shaw House Urban Plaza. There will also be live performances and plenty of yummy nosh.

2. Uncle Ringo Presents The Great Circus of Europe

Making an appearance for the first time in our little red dot, The Great Circus of Europe is a spectacular affair that’ll set your heart-racing. Be prepared for an array near-impossible contortionists, gravity-defying acrobatics and jaw-dropping stunts brought to you by a talented cast hailing from countries like Romania, Kazhakstan, Tanzania, and Columbia.

Led by Hayley Gandey, a fourth-generation descendant of a circus dynasty, the 90 min show will feature featuring the antics of Clown Andreea, a riveting aerial ballet display by Duo Nava, The Survivors’ heart-stopping acrobatic maneuvers, and much more.

Surrounding the Big Top will be Uncle Ringo’s carnival games, thrilling rides and Escapade Festival Village, housing over 50 retail and food stalls where you can stuff yourself with Colourful Fried Chicken & Sweet Potato Balls, Larger than Life Fries, Assorted Praffles and Bobba Tea. There will also be live stage performances.

3. Sembawang & Fajar
