Shine a Light Illuminates the Marina Bay Skyline Nightly Throughout December

Shine a Light, a light display comprising of 60 light beams, kicks-off the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2021 celebrations!

This year, the Marina Bay skyline will be set aglow not with fireworks but with a formation of light beams.

One of the key highlights of the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2021 , Shine a Light is a light display comprising of 60 light beams that will be projected from The Promontory. The circular formation of 60 light beams represents the notches of a clock face.

The light display, presented by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), is designed to symbolise unity, positivity and resilience, denotes our hopes to emerge stronger in the coming year.

Featuring a 3-minute light animation that will play every 15 minutes from 8 pm to 10.30 pm, Shine a Light will kick-off on 1 Dec and run throughout the month.
