A Science Escapade (10 - 14 Years Old)

With immersive experiments, real-world applications and exposure to advanced Science topics, the Secondary Science Headstart programme is crafted to give our budding scientists a strong foundation for academic success while making science come alive! 

At this camp, children discover Science by experimenting:

• Build helicopters, racers, elastic gadgets, floating globes and more
• Design, build and test bridges and different architectural models
• Experiment with ferrofluids, blubber, giant bubbles, non-bursting balloons and more
• Dive into the world of elements, compounds and mixtures and get hands-on with a myriad of chemical reactions
• Create and bring home an isopod ecosystem terrarium
• Build and bring home a Black Soldier Fly composting bin
• Observe living organisms, decomposition and nutrient cycling
• Feed carnivorous plants and get up-close with stick insects to explore adaptations

This STEM camp goes beyond worksheets — kids learn through scientific inquiry: asking questions, predicting, experimenting and analysing results.
