SAFRA Punggol presents a line-up of activities this National Day, reminding us of how far we’ve progressed through the years, from short film screenings, stage performances and displays of military uniforms from as far back as the 1960s (you can try them on to snap shots for keepsakes as well!), to traditional food and games, such as Ondeh Ondeh and Five Stones.
You can also take part in a 3 mins obstacle race with your little ones or get crafty with hands-on workshops and bring home non-edible snacks!

2. Have a Jamboree at Sports Hub’s National Day Fiesta!

Singapore Sports Hub comes alive with National Day festivities!
Enjoy a picnic while watching the National Day Parade live on the dual screen. Settle in early for a great view of the fireworks going off at the Padang. Join craft workshops like Screen Printing, Red & White Sock Dolly workshop and National Bookmark making, and get to bring home a memento of Singapore’s 54th birthday!
Team up with your little ones and take a nostalgic walk down memory lane with OHANA Games, a series of games featuring elements of Singaporean heritage such as rickshaw pulling and Samsui Dash.
You can also look forward to many more fun activities for the family, including face painting, balloon sculpting, carnival games, inflatable playground, free snacks and a local bazaar!

3. Immerse Yourselves in Sentosa’s National Day Celebrations!

You can also pen your wishes for Singapore on the Wishing Wall at the Linkway Bridge.Â

4. Liven Up Your Celebrations with the National Day Concert!

Liven up your National Day celebrations with Singapore artists this weekend at the Gardens by the Bay National Day Concert!
Expect exciting performances by Kit Chan, Dick Lee, Li Fei Hui, Rahimah Rahim, Shabir, Sufi Rashid among many others, and stand-up comedy by Fakkah Fuzz, Jacky Ng and Kumar, spread over the weekends.
Additionally, there will also be drool-worthy munchies to keep your energy up, fringe activities such as inflatables challenge, face painting, balloon sculpting and sand art to keep your little ones entertained. You can also catch your favorite DJs from the different radio stations and meet the casts of hit Mediacorp shows!

Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall’s ‘Heritage Hurray!’ is packed with things to do this National Day!
If you’re up for expressing your artistic touch, you can participate in workshops like the Ang Ku Kueh & Kueh Lapis Vinyl Toy Painting Workshop and Lion City Sketching Workshop.
If you’re feeling more of a Donatello rather than Vincent Van Gogh, there’s a Miniature Clay Sculpting Workshop you can take part in or snag up some secrets of soap crafting with the Heritage Kueh Soap Crafting Demonstration.
Aside from artsy workshops, there are also storytelling session, heritage trail and an Community Art Market you can check out.
