Held in conjunction with Pets’ Day Out and Car-Free Weekend, the Parks Festival is packed with exciting programs and activities. You’ll be able to satiate the shopaholic in you at the Retail Bazaar where you’ll find an assortment of goods, from plants, artisan pet snacks and hydroponic systems for plants, to cushion covers, handmade jewellery and lifestyle products. Charge up enough energy for your shopping spree by indulging in bites and snacks from the F&B stalls.
You can also learn more about NParks’ Therapeutic Gardens, and Singapore’s diverse flora and fauna. To get some exercise in, join in ActiveSG’s ActiveGroove Piloxing or ActiveGroove KpopX Fitness.
For little ones, there’s a Kids’ Play Zone with an outdoor ball pit and an inflatable play area. For a bit more imaginative play, you can check out the ActiveSG Imagination Playground, a free play area with foam mats and foam blocks of different shapes and sizes.
2. Celebrate Deepavali at ACM!

You’ve probably heard that Deepavali is the festival of lights but do you know why? Here’s your chance to find out. Saturdays@ACM is bringing you an interactive drama performance about good triumphing evil and the reason lamps are lit during Deepavali. You’ll also get to make your own candle holder.

3. Bond with Your Tots at The Grandstand’s October Playdate!

4. Register Now for The Police Heritage Centre Open House!

The Police Heritage Centre Open House is aimed at little ones. They’ll get to learn more about the Police Force, participate in interesting policing activities and even dress-up in kid sized Police uniforms! Registration is ending soon and most of the time, the spots tend to get taken up real fast, so do be sure to register asap if you and your little future-officers are interested!
