Bring your kids out to the Wonderland, a FREE outdoor playground and water play area @ Westgate! The Wonderland @ Westgate  caters to kids between 2 years to 12 years old.

It is divided into 3 sections:-

  1. Toddler area ( 2 to 5 years old).
  2. Older kids area ( 5 to 12 years old).
  3. Water play area

As you enter the Toddler area, you can find animal structures for your kids to climb, jump, walk, roll all around it!  (enough to scare most parents but also improving their motor-skills).

They can even pose for pictures on these animal structures.

As you walk inwards, there are also activity boards for the kids to play and display their thinking skills.

Right in the middle, you will see many gigantic blue flowerbells with picture of lady bugs on the flowerbell. Tap on the ladybug, and it will respond with music and light. The kids will definitely be fascinated by it.

*Additional Tip: You can tap the lady bugs secretly and watch your kid wonder where the music and lights are coming from!

If you have older kids, you can move on to the other sections meant for the age group: 5 years to 12 years.

Your kids can try the climbing wall structure if they love rock climbing or if they just love to climb! (If you are worried, do read more about A2 Parkour, and how Parkour can actually help your kids to Run, Climb and Jump Safely)

The handles are of bright colours such that it is easier for your kids to grasp and move upwards.

Otherwise, they can move to the highlight of this section, a 10-Metre Treehouse (its located just next to the wall structure and quite difficult to miss!).

Your kids can make use of the climbing nets connected to climb to the top.

On the way coming down after conquering the treehouse, at midway, the kids can come down via the green slide.

Connected to the treehouse is a smaller play area via a suspension bridge.

Your kids can walk through this bridge and also enjoy a great time sliding, climbing and swinging.

The treehouse is quite massive and difficult to keep your kid in sight. If you want your kids to be easily visible, you should proceed to the gigantic "broken" flowerpot (located just beside the smaller play area).

The kids can also enjoy the same amount of fun as in the Treehouse and the smaller play area makes it easier for you to keep them in sight

After all the sweating at the dry playground, it is time for your kids to change into their swimsuits and proceed to the Water Play Area.

There is an enormous watering can which will keep splashing water.

Occasionally, buckets of water will come splashing down as well. Your kids will definitely love running all over the water playground with water splashing down on their body.

Over here, you do not have to worry about your kids getting wet as there is a blower room located just beside it. Once they have enough fun and when it is time to go home, your kids can get change at the changing area located there as well.

After all the fun, your kids must be very hungry. There are many nice restaurants within Westgate and it's vacinity which you can have a wonderful meal!

If you are thinking of shopping and leaving your kids somewhere, the Wonderland will not be a ideal, but you may wish to have a look at the Westgate Kids Club, where they will be properly looked after with activities to keep them entertained!
