Citadines Connect City Centre is a newly-launched boutique hotel located at the end of the shopping belt of Orchard, opposite Plaza Singapura and just minutes from Douby Ghout MRT station.
A Historical Address

The address of the hotel is 182 Clemenceau Avenue, the site of the former Rediffusion building, a subscription cable radio station that ran from 1949 till operations ceased in 2012. If you are not sure what a subscription cable radio station is, imagine a mix of radio and the Spotify of today,
Before that, the address was home to Tank Road Railway Station that operated from 1903 to 1932, and you will also notice that the design of the hotel takes into consideration the address's history too!
Design with a Historical Reference
The hotel has been designed to feel like an old railway station. Families will find bronze arches that resembles that of older train tunnels. At the lift lobbies, you will also find yourself on the "train platform" waiting for your ride to arrive.
There are generally 2 designs used throughout the hotel, one that represents the 1960s and the other, the more colourful 1970s.
In the room, you will find woven rattan that resembles speakers on vintage radios as well as light switches that toggle up and down, similar to switches found on radios of the past.
The rooms also makes use of motion sensor to save electricity, turning off when it does not detect motion after a period of time.
Family-friendly Loft Rooms with Bunk Beds
Families looking to stay at the Citadines Connect City Centre can consider booking the family room and suite that has been designed with the little ones in mind. There are 2 family suites including a double room option where parents get to stay in one room while kids in another, each separated by their own doors.
The adult room consist of 2 levels and each room is designed slightly differently with the option of the bedroom on the 1st or 2nd level. Over at the children's room, kids will enjoy themselves at the bunk beds with attached slides as well as a play corner with hopscotch mat and teepee to crawl into. Each room also comes with its own toilets too!
For larger families, you will be please to know that the family suite comes with a queen bed and a sofa bed in the parent's room, and the kids' room’s bunk bed also has a pull-out mattress, fitting up to 6 pax!
Pool
Families will find an outdoor pool at the roof of the hotel, at level 7. The pool also has an aqua fitness corner too! The pool offers an open-air swimming experience with lots of splashing fun for the little ones!
Breakfast and F&B Options
Families can enjoy their meals at the hotel's Edition Rooftop Bar & Restaurant on the rooftop. Breakfast is served per person and includes a good mix of international and local fare.
Otherwise, you may also enjoy the daily-replenishable free minibar snacks and drinks in-room or head out to the many F&B options in the nearby malls.
Things to Take Note
For families who intend to drive, do note that the hotel does not offer parking. You may choose to park along the road where there is road-side parking.
Also, do note that there are only 2 family suites available, so do grab them as soon as possible too!
