After extensive renovations from 2020 to 2023, Sunway Resort Hotel has emerged as a dream family getaway, offering stylish rooms, kid-friendly facilities, and endless entertainment just steps away. Located in the heart of the sprawling 800-acre Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, and directly connected to Sunway Pyramid Mall and Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, the hotel perfectly blends fun, relaxation, and luxury for the whole family.
Our Stay @ The Family Terrace Room
Thanks to Sunway City Kuala Lumpur Hotels for providing us a stay at Sunway Resort Hotel's Family Terrace Room.
This spacious 55 sqm room features two queen beds, comfortably accommodating two adults and two children. A baby cot was also provided for our three-year-old (available upon request), allowing the room to comfortably fit our family of five.
Bright and naturally lit, the room comes with child-friendly amenities, soft bathrobes and slippers, a minibar, coffee and tea facilities, and a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary capsules. The kids especially loved the bathtub with a built-in TV—a treat after a full day of adventure.
From the balcony, we enjoyed relaxing pool views, making the room a cozy retreat after hours of fun.
Booking the Family Terrace Room also includes access to the exclusive Premium Leisure Lounge, where parents can unwind with complimentary afternoon tea and evening cocktails, while their children enjoy creative playtime at Wonderland Explorers.

Waterventure
The kids’ absolute favourite hangout was Waterventure, an outdoor splash zone featuring shallow pools, water slides, and tipping buckets.
There’s also a dry playground area for little ones who prefer to stay on land, complete with a nest swing, two single swings, climbing structures, a see-saw, a telephone tube, a couple of springers, and even xylophones for some musical fun.
Parents can relax on sun loungers under shady parasols while keeping an eye on the fun. With unlimited access throughout the stay, it’s the perfect spot for endless family fun.
Wonderland Explorers
Located just one floor below the Premium Leisure Lounge, Wonderland Explorers is a bright and vibrant indoor play space for children. The club features climbing structures, slides, interactive games, quiet reading corners, technology rooms, and a variety of activities, keeping kids happily engaged while parents unwind.
