Hilton Singapore Orchard Reopens In January 2022 And Invites Kids to Design Children’s Welcome Pack

Running from 20 September to 10 October 2021, all kids aged 12 years and below are welcome to participate in the hotel's design contest themed ‘A Greener Singapore’.

The theme, ‘A Greener Singapore’ is inspired by The Singapore Green Plan 2030, a whole-of-nation movement to advance Singapore’s national agenda on sustainable development.

Set to open in January 2022, Hilton Singapore Orchard will be the largest Hilton hotel in Asia Pacific and represent Hilton’s flagship presence in Singapore with 1,080 refurbished rooms and suites, renovated event spaces and five exciting dining concepts.

The hotel is committed to supporting Hilton’s Travel with Purpose program to drive responsible travel and tourism globally by doubling its investment in social impact and cut our environmental footprint in half by 2030.

How To Participate

To take part in the contest, all participants are required to submit a minimum A4-sized drawing showcasing their creativity and their idea of a green and sustainable Singapore, and include the hotel’s name – 'Hilton Singapore Orchard’ on the drawing. 

In order to be qualified to participate in the contest, a parent or legal guardian of the kid will have to:

1. Follow the hotel’s Instagram account @HiltonSingaporeOrchard

2. Upload the photo of the child’s drawing onto the parent’s or guardian’s personal Instagram account on behalf of the child, and include a photo caption of the design inspiration in no more than 80 words with the hashtags #HiltonSingaporeOrchard, #HiltonSingaporeOrchardContest, #Opening2022 and #GreenSingapore.

3.Ensure that his or her Instagram profile is set to public and tag @hiltonsingapoerorchard and two or more friends on the post.

What Are The Prizes

The top three designs will be able to win stays at the new Hilton Singapore Orchard. Prizes are as follows:

1. First Prize: Two-night stay in Hilton Singapore Orchard One-Bedroom Suite with Sofa Bed with breakfast for two (2) adults and up to two (2) kids (valued up to S$1,380++)

2. Second Prize: Two-night stay in Hilton Singapore Orchard Premium Family Room with Sofa Bed with breakfast for two (2) adults and up to two (2) kids (valued up to S$1,180++)

3. Third Prize: One-night stay in Hilton Singapore Orchard Premium Family Room with Sofa Bed with breakfast for two (2) adults and up to two (2) kids (valued up to S$590++)

In addition, the winning design will be printed on the Children’s Welcome Pack by the hotel for junior guests, along with educational materials on caring for Mother Earth.
