The Singapore Police Force (SPF) is bringing its popular Police Community Roadshow (PCR) 2025 back to the heartlands this November and December. Held over two exciting weekends, this free event offers families a unique, hands-on opportunity to engage with police operations, understand community safety, and meet the officers dedicated to keeping Singapore safe.

As an excellent choice for a family outing, the PCR combines entertainment with practical education, ensuring children are not only thrilled by the displays but also learn valuable safety and crime prevention lessons from authoritative sources.

Event Highlights and Family Engagement

The PCR 2025 is structured with various zones designed to appeal to every member of the family, supporting the SaferSG, Together initiative. The experiential nature of the roadshow provides parents with a tangible way to teach children about civic responsibility and safety.

For the Youngest Heroes (Kids Zone)

• Bouncy Castles: Police-themed bouncy castles allow younger children to burn energy and have fun in a safe environment.

• Kids Uniform Photo Booth: Little ones can unleash their imaginations, dress up as police officers, and strike a pose in a full uniform, creating cherished souvenir photos.

• Police Pal Storytelling: Preschoolers and primary school children can participate in fun, hands-on activities and storytelling sessions focusing on crime prevention.

Hands-on Education and Crime Prevention

• SPF Anti Scam Exhibition: Parents and teens can immerse themselves in the ‘ACT Against Scams’ experiential zone to understand common scam tactics and learn protective measures, gaining essential knowledge on a critical community issue.

• Road Safety Zone: Families can learn road safety tips, try out real Traffic Police equipment, and let children practise safe road crossing on a special road circuit.

• MATA-verse Roblox Game: Young gamers can embark on a virtual policing career, rising through the ranks while learning about deterring and detecting crime.

• Community Watch Scheme Booth: Learn how to be actively involved in local safety by becoming the Police’s eyes and ears in the neighbourhood.

• Dive into Forensic Science with Fingerprint Lifting: Unlock the mysteries of crime-solving with the Fingerprint Lifting Activity and step into the world of forensic investigation as you learn how to lift fingerprints. 

Thrills and Operations

• Weapons Display & Police Vehicles Display: Definitely a highlight for families, especially young ones! Families can get an up-close and hands-on look at the firearms, less-lethal weapons, and tactical gear used by frontline officers. Children will particularly enjoy hopping inside police vehicles to experience the action firsthand.

• SOC K-9 Unit Performance: Witness the powerful bond and incredible skills of the elite K-9 unit from Special Operations Command through thrilling live demonstrations.

• SPF Band 100th Anniversary: Join in the celebrations as the SPF Band marks its centenary with spectacular musical performances, themed "Bringing the Beat To You Since 1925.”

Exclusive Activities (Available only at Woodlands)

• Shooting Range: A chance for older participants to test their precision and focus in a simulated shooting experience.

• Escape Rooms: An immersive challenge in the Investigations Zone that allows visitors to step into the role of an investigation officer, uncovering clues and solving a case against the clock.
  

Redeem An Exclusive Die-Cast Collectible

Families can redeem an exclusive die-cast collectible by following a simple three-step process. This adds a fantastic souvenir and incentive for early engagement:

1. Reserve Online: Sign up via the registration link (requires Singpass), complete a short quiz, and select a preferred redemption date and time.
2. Receive Your QR Code: Save the unique QR code sent to the registered email address.

3. Redeem Onsite: Present the QR code at the Redemption Booth at the respective roadshow venue.
