Share with other Parents or Go Back

This October and November, National Heritage Board (NHB) will be running an array of programmes and events for you and your family!

So much is happening this October and November across the venues managed by the National Heritage Board! Here's a closer look at what you can expect in these two months:

Museum of U and Me

Venue: National Museum of Singapore Lawn
Date: 9 Oct – 14 Dec 2025
Time: 10am – 7pm
Admission: Free

The National Heritage Board's Museum of U & Me is a pop-up exhibition that brings together everyday objects and artefacts from our National Collection. Objects featured range from a retro 1970s made-in-Singapore Setron television to measurements of Diana, Princess of Wales taken by local fashion designer Benny Ong, and even a plaque for the first passenger to fly Singapore Airlines.

This SG60 special spans five themes from our shared history to work, food, leisure and home. It features digital displays, 3D prints, and replicas from the National Collection alongside crowdsourced treasures from everyday Singaporeans. Think of it as our nation's treasure box where you can touch, explore, and discover how your own memories connect to our shared heritage – because this isn't just about the past, it's a museum about us, for us, and shaped by us!

Project Citizens

Date: till Mar 2026

Project Citizens – The First Million, pays tribute to independent Singapore’s founding generation by gathering stories that bring to life the values they exemplified in our early nation-building years. From April 2025 to March 2026, Project Citizens Pop-up will travel to more than 20 locations such as community hubs and libraries. At the pop-up, the Founders’ Memorial explores the founding generation’s journey to citizenship – from breaking away as British subjects post-WWII in 1949 to formalising a Singapore citizenship and finally, what it meant to become citizens of independent Singapore. Through vignettes, dioramas of early nation-building scenes and an interactive photo zone, visitors can step into the shoes of the first Singaporeans, connect with the hopes, fears and emerging sense of identity that shaped their decisions, and reflect on what being Singaporean means and their role in building Singapore’s future. They also stand a chance to win Founders’ Memorial merchandise by penning a message to the founding generation. The pop-up schedule can be found at www.foundersmemorial.gov.sg/project-citizens.
