To bring festive cheer to the heartlands, FairPrice Group will host Christmas Block Parties in Punggol and Yishun on December 9, 2023. Families can look forward to sales of handmade gifts, a Christmas wishing tree, family friendly games, food sampling, and the popular FairPrice on Wheels truck.
What To Expect?
- Christmas Wishing Tree: Visitors can spread joy by dedicating a gift to a loved one on a wishing card and hanging it on the FairPrice Christmas Tree. Ten lucky winners will be chosen at random during each Block Party, each receiving the gift they selected for their special someone.
- Sale of handmade gifts from Rainbow Centre’s Micro Business Academy (MBA): The MBA provides a supportive environment for young adults who have graduated from Special Education Schools to engage in meaningful work and sell their crafted items. Handmade gifts available at the Block Parties include lanyards, baby pillows, and diamond art.
- FairPrice potato chips claw machine: This crowd favourite will be making a reappearance with new flavours of FairPrice potato chips including Indonesian Style Sambal Balado, Hot Chilli Pepper & Lime and Black Garlic Ramen.
- Community Fridge Education Drive game: To raise awareness in a fun and educational manner, there will be an interactive game for visitors to stand a chance to win prizes while they learn about the FairPrice Group Community Fridge Restock Initiative.
