Katong Kultura 2025 isn't an exhibition; it's an immersive experience into a fascinating heritage. From 4 to 20 July, families can expect i12 Katong’s Atrium on Level 1 to come alive with the sights, sounds, and stories of the Peranakan community.
Families can explore and capture their next family photos at the replica of a Baba Mansion, offering a glimpse into traditional Peranakan living. Families can also admire exquisite Peranakan fashion displays, featuring the stunning Kebayas from the popular Mediacorp series, Emerald Hill – The Little Nyonya Story, and to enjoy the unique experience of a Kebaya try-on, with traditional attire available for mummy, daddy and all your little ones too!
Explore the colourful Peranakan Feast with larger-than-life models and the Nyonya Rempah (Spice) Garden to discover how Peranakans use spices in their daily life and to create sedap (yummy) dishes. You can even take home Bibik’s favourite recipes and try them yourself!
As you explore this space, don't forget to complete the stamp rally and redeem a free scoop of ice cream too!
Star-Studded Highlights Not to Be Missed!
Remember to mark your calendars for some truly special events! The festival kicks off with a grand Opening Ceremony on 5 Jul from 3 pm to 5 pm featuring a captivating theatrical performance, A Tapestry of Peranakan Stories. You are also encouraged to come dressed in traditional Kebaya or Batik to enjoy complimentary access to a delightful Peranakan Tea-Party offering some of Peranakan's iconic dishes too!
Fans of the hit Mediacorp series, Emerald Hill will be in for a major treat on 12 Jul from 3 pm to 4 pm! Meet and Greet with Mediacorp Artistes Sheila Sim & Chantalle Ng on Saturday, where you may get to interact with the stars through games, dance, and an engaging interview. Best of all, this event is free for all attendees, with limited edition artistes’ autograph cards, mall vouchers, and merchandise up for grabs!
Further enriching this cultural experience, the Katong Culture Singing Competition Finals will take place on 19 Jul from 2 pm to 5 pm, showcasing local talent crooning multi-cultural popular folk songs.

Weekends at Katong Kultura 2025 promise an array of complimentary workshops and live performances that will delight your family. Get a hands-on experience at the Kueh air-clay craft workshops or create your own keepsakes at the beads to tile souvenir-making stations.
Families can also take part in the tile painting workshops where your beautiful tile will join the artistic works of others to form the Peranakan Community Wall. Do come back regularly to witness the wall's transformation and celebrate the beauty of Peranakan inspirations!
