The Singapore Games Week (SGW) 2021 is a showcase & celebration of Singapore’s vibrant games industry and its communities, expect a virtual exhibition (SGW Virtual Village), gaming-related workshops, a treasure hunt, trivia sessions and more. The SGW Virtual Village opens till 31 October, while other activities run from 11 to 17 October.

Explore the SGW Virtual Village

The main exhibition platform for SGW 2021, the SGW Virtual Village is a Singapore-themed village. Visitors start by customising their own online avatars and traverse through various zones. 

At the virtual village, visitors are free to roam around and chat with Singapore-based gaming companies, including game developers, publishers, as well as companies with an expertise in games-related design, marketing, and video production. 

For the gamers, you can catch gaming content at the¬†Screening Zone¬†‚Äď from video screenings to live-streamed sessions direct from gamescom asia or take part in the Treasure Hunt within the "village grounds".

The SGW Virtual Village is free to explore at from now till 31 October.

Online / Offline Treasure Hunt

Visit the SGW Virtual Village and partnering sites to discover clues and hints to the Treasure Hunt! You may even have to make a trip the partnering venues to get the answers too! 

The concept is that games can be part of our daily life and is not restricted to just virtual worlds! So enter a cross-world experience to solve games-related questions and puzzles, uncovering clues along the way to complete the hunt. You will stand to win a range of attractive prizes too!


From painting miniatures to game design workshops, the Singapore Game Week hosts a series of activities organised by the local gaming community for you! Workshops are free or highly subsidised! Find out more by clicking on the workshops below. 


  • The Paper Playground¬†by AlterCulture Studios:¬†Take a sneak peek into the process of designing games, and have a hands-on experience in designing¬†your own game prototype to take home.
  • Dungeons & Dragons Experience¬†by Neo Tokyo Project: Learn to play Dungeons & Dragons with Singapore‚Äôs first and only ENnie Awards nominated adventure author Jason Koh.
  • Learn to Paint Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures¬†by Neo Tokyo Project: A beginner friendly miniature painting workshop will let attendees learn techniques to add color to their tabletop gaming experience by bringing their favorite monsters and characters to life.
  • Play with Gank‚Äôs Playpals¬†by Gank: From 11 ‚Äď 17 October, Gank will be offering subsidized rates to play and interact with their SEA-based content creators and gamers.

This event looks beyond just playing the games, but the businesses, people and communities behind these games. As our kids get more involved in gaming, parents might be keen to find out more and be involved in their conversations too.
