Digital Light Canvas by teamLab is an interactive digital art installation at Marina Bay Sands where kids can use imagination and creativity to bring a digital forest to life!

An immersive digital art installation, Digital Light Canvas at The Shoppes, Marina Bay Sands is presented in collaboration with teamLab, the Japanese collective behind Future World: Where Art Meets Science at ArtScience Museum.

Digital Light Canvas Shows

A new edition of the Digital Light Canvas was unveiled from 26 Nov 2022. In the latest installation, families can learn more about the ecosystem of endangered species such as the Siamese Crocodile, the Cave Racer Snake, Southern Torrent Frog, Borneo Birdwing Butterfly, and the Calypso Orchid, among others.

The experience is free to watch but a fee is required to take part. 

Graffiti Nature

Graffiti Nature explores an ecosystem of flora and fauna. Little ones (and those young at heart) can bring various creatures to life with your imagination. Pick up a colouring sheet of an endangered species from the Red List of the International Union for Conservation of Nature at the colouring table to create your own version of these endangered species. 

They can be scanned and added to the digital forest where they will interact with other digital animals. Little ones can definitely also run around the space as they chase these animals too. 

Sketch Factory

For an additional fee, you can also turn your drawings into souvenirs to take home with you at the Sketch Factory. These items include

• Tote bag 

Virtual Fireworks & Personalised Messages

Digital Light Canvas also has other interactive features where you can use your phone to set off over 30 animated Crystal Fireworks and light displays and even have personalised messages appear on the LED floor - perhaps a surprise gift for the kids or spouse? 

Pricing Details

Tickets priced at $12 per person entering the rink, and free for kids below 2 years old. You may also watch the animation outside the rink for free. 

*For a limited time, Future World ticket holders can enter Sketch Factory on the same day (Mon - Thu) for free simply by showing your drawing done at Future World. On Fri to Sun, purchase a collectible (bag, tee or badge) to enter for free. 

Tip: For a bird’s-eye view of the show, head to Level 2. If you would rather admire the show at Level 1, anywhere around Rasapura Masters food hall (B2-50, Canal Level) will offer prime views of Digital Light Canvas.
