Sesame Street, the internationally well-known and much-loved children’s series, is celebrating its 50^th year anniversary, and everyone’s invited to the party!

Held at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) from 8 Mar to 28 Apr 2019, the “Sesame Street 50 Years and Counting Celebration” will feature all-new colourful and interactive shows/exhibits, and of course, everyone’s favourite Sesame Street characters (such as Elmo, Cookie Monster and more!).

So whether you are young or old, it’s time to gather round and get to Sesame Street for the town’s biggest birthday bash ever!

1. Sesame Street Birthday Blowout

Get ready for a massive monster-sized party like no other at the “Sesame Street Birthday Blowout Show” - complete with photo ops, huge birthday presents and a ginormous cake - at the theme park’s Hollywood and New York zones.

Dance to catchy pop songs and party with the adorable Sesame Street gang, including the lovely Lily the Tiger - a martial arts experts and special guest from China - who is here on an exchange programme to teach everyone some Mandarin (and maybe some kungfu moves too!).

2. Sesame Street Block Party

Hang out with Abby at her Fairy Garden and groove along to the latest and rhythmic beats by Oscar the Grouch. Don’t forget the drop by Big Bird’s Nest – the cosy home of everyone’s beloved big yellow bird – for some picture-worthy moments too!

3. A Walk Down Sesame Street

Take a walk down Sesame Street in a special gallery and relive some of the most iconic and endearing scenes from the series.

Visit the warm and welcoming apartment of best friends, Bert and Ernie, and do a happy happy dance ‘live’ with Elmo! And yes, do remember to stop by the famous stoop at 123 for a photo opportunity that’s not to be missed too!

Game enough for some arty-farty fun? Head over to the “Oscar the Grouch Trash Can” Exhibition And Colouring Activity corner, where you can design your very own trash can to bring home as keepsake.

4. Sesame Street Collectible Pins

Gear up, all you Sesame Street fans! USS will be launching a series of exclusive Sesame Street Collectible Pins (of 10 different designs) that you can take home for free with a minimum spend in the theme park.

Simply redeem an exclusive Sesame Street Collectible Pin from the gashapon machines outside Hollywood China Arcade and trade yours in for your preferred design with any one of the friendly theme park crew members!
