Chinese New Year dining at Crystal Jade restaurants will commence from 19 January 2024 (select outlets will be closed on 10 February 2024) and set menus for up to ten persons are available.

Available only at Crystal Jade Group's fine dining restaurants, Crystal Jade's introduces a new luxe Prosperity Yu Sheng with Boston Lobster Tail, Aburi Scallop & Fruit. This creation pairs a medley of fresh and dried fruits, fresh and home-pickled vegetables; none of the conventional pre-packaged preserved items, as well as crispy elements such as deep-fried Hsin Chu bee hoon and yam strips, tossed in a house blend sauce made with tangy Okinawa acerola fruit juice, plum sauce and scallion oil.

Min Jiang

Goodwood Park's Min Jiang invites you to welcome a year of prosperity and abundance with a toss of the Dragon Prosperity Blessings ‘Lo Hei’, starring starring lobster, 6-head abalone, salmon sashimi and jellyfish flower. Served with fresh and julienne vegetables, it is also garnished with pomelo and red ginger, along with deep-fried sweet potato strips, pine nuts, peanuts, white sesame seeds and crackers for that perfect crunch. It is accompanied by a tangy dressing of orange jam, calamansi juice, peanut oil and ‘yu sheng’ sauce.

Min Jiang at Dempsey

As an homage to the Year of the Dragon, Min Jiang at Dempsey’s Master Chef Goh Chee Kong has plated up the Auspicious Abundance ‘Lo Hei’, spotlighting fresh lobster (龙虾,lóngxiā). This stellar creation includes an abundance of ingredients such as velvety slices of salmon sashimi topped with tobiko and abalone. Encircling a medley of julienne carrots, romaine lettuce, red cabbage, radish, embellished with edible flowers and a crispy vermicelli sphere, are dragon fruit balls and osmanthus jelly ingots filled
with mini orbs of red dragon fruit. 

Just before mixing, pine nuts, sesame, peanuts, deep-fried sweet potato strips, deep-fried yam strips, and deep-fried golden pillows are added. A delightful dressing comprises plum sauce, and a fruit-based concoction of pineapples, apples and calamansi, is drizzled over this ensemble symbolising a sweet start to the Lunar New Year celebrations.

At Sakae Sushi, families can expect 2 yusheng sizes for parties and gathering of different sizes. The Spring Yusheng ($52.88) is suitable for 3 to 4 pax, and the Lunar Yusheng ($75.88) is suitable for 6 to 8 pax. Yusheng is sold at both Sakae Sushi and Hei Sushi. Do note that Hei Sushi is Halal-certified.

This Lunar New Year, the modern Japanese bistro presents a contemporary yu sheng with Japanese flavours - the Ginkyō Blissful Yu Sheng Toss* ($88++). Perfect for an intimate reunion of 4 to 6 people, the yu sheng is available for dine-in only from 1 to 29 February 2024.

Brimming with ingredients bearing well-wishes, toss to a year of prosperity and blessings with the Ginkyō Blissful Yu Sheng Toss. Indulge in an abundance of ingredients such as various freshly-sliced sashimi like salmon, tuna, and swordfish; salmon roe (ikura) and flying fish roe (tobiko); strips of deep-fried crabsticks, wakame, pickled daikon radish; as well as sweet and savoury Japanese fish floss (sakura denbu) circles the yu sheng, symbolising blissful unity.
