But you do need to take a break for yourself once in a while. With Motherâs Day almost upon us, why not use this opportunity to relax and pamper yourself at home? Here are some ideas for you!

1. Snooze Your Alarm
Chances are, youâre almost always up early in the morning and from the moment youâre up, youâre probably buzzing around getting things done, moving from one chore to the next.
Perhaps just for one day it is alright to take things slow today. The messy rooms and laundry won't go away, but they can definitely wait! So snooze that alarm and pull your blanket above your head to start the day a little later!Â
And if the kiddies need to be washed, fed, and entertained in the time, your partner can take over. Â
2. Get Yourself Some Flowers

Fresh, bright blooms are wonderful in the way they liven up your day. Thereâs something about getting flowers from someone that makes you feel good but no one ever said you canât get flowers for yourself. So, why not add a little cheer to the day by ordering yourself a bouquet of pretty flowers!

3. Have Your Meals Delivered

Nothing beats a motherâs homecooked meal. But prepping the ingredients, cooking in front of a hot stove, and washing up after can be tiring. And sometimes, you canât even find the time to sit and enjoy your meal in peace. Which is why you should leave the pots and pans alone, and instead have your meal delivered. Indulge yourself by ordering something youâve always craved but stayed away from.
4. Hole Yourself in a Room for Some Me-time

Mothers, weâve said it once, and weâll say it again, you deserve a break.
Ask your partner for help in looking after the kids for the day, or at least for a few hours so that you can get away to pamper yourself. And since you canât actually get away, you can instead modify your room to create a pampering-nest before holing yourself up inside.
You can create your pampering nest by bringing in your favorite books, prepare a new movie or series to watch, maybe add in a bottle of prosecco, and some munchies to snack on.
5. Give Yourself a Spa Treatment

Thereâs nothing quite like a day at the spa to ease all that weariness that may have built up, but sometimes, youâve got to make do with what youâve got. Light up a scented candle and soak your feet in bath salts while you watch a movie. A quick tip, if you donât have a pumice stone to buff away at the dead skin, you can use either a loofah or a washcloth.
You can give yourself a home facial with a cleanse-and-exfoliating routine. Put on a face mask and soak in a nice long bubble bath. Moisturize your skin and get your mani-pedi done. Just like that, you can add on to your spa treatment as you like.
6. Go for a Nice Quiet Walk
Sunlight and fresh air can help make a big difference in how you feel, so put on your sporty attire, lace up your shoes, and plan a walk outdoors in one of the many parks in Singapore.Â
If you can't go alone, bring the kids to a park with playground, and perhaps they will give you some alone time while they run around! But remember to put on plenty of insect repellent and sunscreen before you head out - oh, and definitely lots of water too!Â
